Almost four years ago I was in a work-related accident (used to be a firefighter). I broke my left femur in two places, shattered my left and right elbows, and dislocated two vertebrae in my spine (very rare). After 7 surgeries and almost a year learning to walk and move by myself again, I had severe depression and tried to commit suicide twice. However, God had a plan and turned my life around. I am now an IT consultant and motivational speaker. I only walk with a slight limp and can't carry anything heavier than 50 lbs. But God is good my man. You'll get through this! Don't give up or get down. You have people around you that care, so see what God has in store for your life!

@@ilyssahagood8387 normally when they send you somewhere else for a cast it’s because there is too much swelling initially so they do a splint for a few days then put a cast on

Hey Josh I had the same problem with you I broke my foot and shattered shattered it somehow it’s healed I also broke my wrist broke my arm I think I I did break five ribs or a dirt accidentGoing to 15 feet in the air on or in a big hole
You can get through it I got through it pretty painful really painful but I’m all healed I did it in 2019

Put a chair in the bathroom for when he shaves and brushes his teeth and you just help a bit and he can spit in a cup and you can rinse off the razor each time
i think it's really hard to sit and then get back up from chairs especially when both legs are broke. but hopefully now with the wheelchair things are easier :)
It to hard to get up to us it seems easy but he shouldn't put any pressure on his ankles
Or maybe put a stool there so he can rest the knee of his really bad ankle on it while he puts his weight on the crutch on the side of his not so bad ankle, if he wants to somewhat stand up. he does have a wheelchair now, so maybe it can be an option.
