I think I will use your channel as a comprehensible input. I love the process and methods about how we learn a language.

Good to see you, dude! This video really helps me appreciate how much easier it is to learn vocabulary ones you’re basically at an intermediate level. And can decide to stop needing an SRS necessarily, because the repetition can then come purely from exposure because you know enough of the language to do that.
When you first started learning German, how did you build a foundation to bring yourself to the point where learning could be become somewhat less deliberate and a lot more incidental in general?
Keep up the great work dude, my progress through Latin has been both slower and faster than I imagined depending on the areas. I’ve switched from trying to use Rosetta Stone to jumpstart my learning, because the way that I was doing it was far too repetitive. To basically using an Spaced repetition and comprehensible input. I’m having a lot more fun now. Keep up the great work, I really enjoy your perspective and how practical all of your advice is

I used the 600 basic words from the Fluent Forever method to start my German learning. I basically just did reps on that while passively immersing in any German content (of course understanding nothing at the start). Thank you for your words, very motivating. I wish you the best with your Latin work!

“Besen” is cognate with the English word “besom,” which denotes a traditional broom made with twigs tied together and bound to a stick.

haha sorry I had no idea of 'besom', but that's good to know!

It appears to me extremely inefficient to consume tons of input just to understand the meaning of "Besen". Looking the word up in a dictionary takes a few seconds only. Done.

“Besen “ will be learned naturally as you consume content, many other words will as well at the same time. Seeing “Besen” 20 times in different sentences as you read/watch fun stuff will make you remember the word.

My first app would be RUclips because there are lots of content that are in your target language for you to progress from. My second app would be Anki so that you can learn your new words a bit more efficiently.
