    Cool i break allot of shafts on my 3s granite seems to be a thing on these smaller arrma i bought the same shafts for the granite working good so far 💯👍

      Good to know. Yeah if I set the slipper loose enough not to break shafts it becomes too loose in like a minute. The Hot Racing axles looked promising . But, you have to putt the diff and change the output shafts they provide , then they shattered first time out. For $68 you’d expect more. I love Arrma but it is irritating that they have the cvd style axles now for the 3s & 4s Line up yet my new v3 big rock still came with the old style axles. It seems like if they had to redesign them that they would start putting on the new RTR models. But Horizon hobby’s probably just saw it as a way to make more money.

    Hope the GPM ones work out for you. I have always found that if the slipper is set too tight it causes the drive shafts to go, not had any issues with all of ours with slipper set just right

      @jackoffenhouser5833 4 года назад +1

      Yeah , but how do you keep it in adjustment. I set mine and it keeps loosening up

      @@jackoffenhouser5833 have you used the blue lock tight down the back hole ? If that didn’t work I would suggest orange lock tight, it’s stronger than blue but can still be undone by hand.

    I was really contemplating on getting these so I’m curious to see how yours hold up I ended up going with the heavy duty Arrma CVD slider version and so far on the Kraton 4s they have been holding up great.

      I like the design of the Arrma cvd. I just couldn’t shell out more cash to them as I felt that they should have addressed it before they started shipping them.

    • @norcalrc
      @norcalrc  4 года назад +2

      I will keep you updated on the GPM’s . I love Arrma but it is irritating that they sold didn’t put the Cvd’s on in the first place. I just recently picked up the V3 Big Rock and it still had the old style axles on it, if they break me & the warranty department will be having words. Lol. Thx for your support, it means a lot to me.

    I have had my Outcast for over a year. My biggest issue was the shocks. I actually have a whole playlist on my channel dedicated to the damn thing! LOL! However, I'm going to look into these shafts even though I'm still on the stock ones. I run 4S and I beat the absolute hell out of mine even with a bigger pinion!! SEND IT!!!😂😂👍👍

    Could it possibly be a heavy throttle finger? And off camber landings?

    Got the v 2.5 yesterday . It’s so quiet and smooth . Driveshafts are all cvd now , center diff , lots of cool things they got right imo . The shocks are bigger than 6s , there’s no bladder so M2c pistons should work really really good hopefully
