That "60 fps isn't worth it" is a mantra that I hear many animators say. However, every time I actually see a 60 fps animation I can't help feeling that it IS worth it.
I think that even if it is better, the improvement doesn't justify the amount of extra time spent on it. But if it does look better and it's mostly tweened/automated (like 3d generally) then why not

I think 30 is the best frame rate. 30 for lots of motion, and 15 for still shots or shots where the motion is too fast to have in-betweens. 7.5 is not good, 60 isn't either.
