Buying!!! I bought the Typhon because of the amazing synth and effects feature set, but yet was struggling with the quirky factory presets. You have solved the issue for me beyond expectations!! Sounds great!!
I've recently come to the light that I don't really like sound design. I much prefer just being able to jam. These sound so good and inspiring, they're making me have gas for a piece of gear that's sitting on my desk. Great demos can't wait to give them a try!
Great sounds and truly amazing use of the sequencer. I’ve been wanting one of these for over a year and I think I might be unable to resist its call any longer…
I have yet to hear a bad sound from this little device. I was comparing the Minitaur, this, the SE-02, Microfreak, and this wins hands down in the versatility of monophonic sound from vintage to modern imho. I'm having to compare it to Hydrasynth (for its mod matrix and morphers with analog feel and warm mode), the more expensive moogs, and the Pro3, all of which are much larger and add a lot more complexity. Thanks for the demo!
Ha. So my choice of typhon and hydrasynth as my first two real synths is spot on. Still waiting for the dreadbox. Out of stock in China so I had to order from Japan.. again.
@@AntonAnru I have an idea for you. Check out the type of sounds on the Melodic and Peak Time Techno top 100 genres on Beatport. Create a bank of sounds used in that type of genre paying attention to the sounds used in the breakdowns and you will sell lots of them. Umeks stuff is a good starting point to check out. I make that style of music and programming unique sounds for the breakdown takes time and removes me out of the song writing mode (V important mode). Songwriters are not synth programmers but we have to do it and as I mentioned when programming during the composition of a song breaks the vibe. Hence why I like presets in analogs that I can quickly edit to fit my style.
@@specialkcitizen6263 thank you for the feedback. Typhon is an interesting synth, it offers nice features that are not frequently seen on other analog synths, like mod sequencer and effects. I wanted to use these features for the presets. You may turn these modules off, and you'll get simpler basses/leads/plucks. Making something basic is usually not what I'm interested in. Moog Minitaur - yes, hardly can I do anything outside basic sounds. But if a synth like Typhon provides more features, I can't ignore them. I'm sure, almost any sound can be used in almost any track.
Will buy this! Awesome. Is it possible to play the sequence only when a note is played. I use it live wit a digitakt, and now its always playing. I like to start the sequence from the digitakt ( programming a note in the digitakt )
Looks like you have had your hands on many synths! I'm looking for a hardware bass synth that is playable, fun, capable of soft and buttery subs, and highly modulatable. This is up there next to the DB-01 and the Bass Station (i dont want a keyboard tho) have any thoughts suggestions?
@@AntonAnru if they made it as a desktop module without the keyboard it would be a main contender. i am pretty much set on the Norand Mono at this point
Great job you sold me the typhon! Which hardware is playing the drums? Is key step the best companion? Any advice for bass analog synth? I already have an Octatrack and will pair as per your advice! Thanks !
Thanks. The drums were just samples from different sources. To my taste keystep is the best companion to any hardware synth. Best bass synth is Moog Subsequent 37🤘

Yes, it's difficult to find an alternative
DREADBOX make really musical and warm sounding stuff. Thats the key I think.

Such a nice demo... cheers

@@AntonAnru just loaded them all, all working great, thankyou.
Great presets, thank you! Got my eye on a Typhon ... 😀

Wicked just wicked - thanks so much!!

Wow nice patches!

The typhon has insane bottom end , massive bass dynamics.
I also like the features it suggests

Très bon sons. !!!!
*This is amazing! What are you using for the beats and how do you have it syncwed with the Typhon?*
Thank you. I synced Typhon via midi with Ableton. For drums I used samples
Very well done! Any chance you're thinking of doing an ambient/drone set?
100% would be interested in that as well...
Next soundset is gonna be with plucks, lead, and melodic stuff. I will think about drones too
@@AntonAnru can't wait for it :)
I guess it will be available in March-April
@@AntonAnru Hope so !
Amazing Thanks. Buying this instantly. Can you also tell me where are the drum beats from? More precisely: #13 Thanks!
thank you for the support, wish you fun with the synth. Drums - that was some drum loop. Do you need it? Write me on email, I'll try to find it

I guess - no. A seq starts when "play" button is pushed

I can’t believe how powerful this thing is and it’s damn near the size of a volca
Totally agree
most lead/bass sounds are distorted, is it a mark of a modern sound? sound engineer's headache
i guess you'd love metal guitar sound, no jokes
Yes, i like heavy sound
huh
I'm saturating half the stuff in my mixes. I'm sure this box cuts through a dense mix well
Hey friend, I'd love some softer/gentler/spacey sounds!
My next soundset will be like this
trying to pay but PayPal comes up in German (I think) will not let me pay you, a bit weird
could you please contact me via email anru.anton@gmail.com
We still have the impression that it's always the same sound played differently !
It's subjective. But the fact is they're different
