- Spencer Cassadine's presumed death looks like it will have more of a long-term impact than previously thought, as the actor portraying Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) confirmed that he is leaving the show. What that will mean for Trina Robinson is a question for another day. Right now, I want to dive into a the idea that Port Charles moved on awfully quickly from this character -- and maybe his family.
Yes, this is a re-upload, because I detected some sound and video issues that were too jarring to let go. This is much better.

Grown up Spencer was an amazing character. He was complex, petty, entitled , sweet ,flawed, and so, in love with Trina.
He was always complex, petty, entitled, sweet and flawed even when NB was portraying him.
Describe Trina's character. I know she's not complex, flawed and entitled.
Trina is also complex and flawed. Like we all are. Her's is just less obvious. Once , she found out that Spencer had a gf, she should have distanced herself. I know that she couldn't because she was attracted to him. She's intelligent, yet she allowed herself, to stay in the orbit, of chaos, because of Spencer. I think she knew, that E's obsession would, end in tragedy, for her or Spencer. But, she didn't care, because their connection was too strong. I adore Sprina and am still waiting for their continued love story. But this comment, is just my opinion, saying that Trina is more, than meets the eye.
@@user-qv2js1ni6k Trina's not slow-witted, she comprehends very well. And she doesn't have any inner demons to overcome. She's not her own worst enemy. She's never committed any felonies like Spencer and Esme. She's never gotten herself into trouble too many times to count.

@@ericaellis4983 Taby is in the video listed above, but mostly it focuses on Spencer Cassadine being forgotten. Spencer was talking to Trina when she was still with Rory, not knowing he had just been hooked. He thought no one would care about him when he left Port Charles because he had disappointed them. Now he is gone and was right on being forgotten but not from Trina. You can see yourself through him as no one loves you, maybe only when you are no longer around. Maybe I am missing what you are saying.

I can see the emphasis on Spencer being forgotten throughout the video, and seeing Trina's was the only one truly mourning love of life throughout the video, and his family forgotten what kind of person he was, and he just wanted his family to love him when he was gone. Spencer was right about their actions, but his presumed death broke Trina's heart.
I checked out the spoilers for this week. I didn't see Tabyana this week on the preview. Where's Trina?????
You're very welcome. The sound on the scene with Trina and Joss was too grating to leave alone, so I had to fix it.
@@ericaellis4983 I noticed a few times Trina was not mentioned and she appeared and many others mentioned it. It's a shame that GH treated this young actor and others on the show. Why did GH do a shabby Spencer's memorial service and his family act like he never was alive. His dad does not talk about him and I wonder deep in his soul, if he predicted what we see now. It is like SPRINA went aboard with Spencer and Trina is the only one left alive to not forget him. GH didn't even try to finish the story up and now we have to hear about Heather, just because she won an Emmy last year. I heard that GH is in 3rd place with the soap operas. I do not watch anymore and may catch up on LMMN when clips of Trina are shown.
I feel like Trina,cwants to forget Spencer, because, it hurts too much, to remember him. And no one is, really helping, her through, her grief. They vwere, the only real, super couple, on that show. A super couple, aren't just two people, sleeping together. But, they bring outthe, best, in each other. Independently interesting and fire together. That was/ is Sprina 💕.
True facts
Trina hurts when she thinks of Spencer and no one is helping her or really wants to listen to her. Trina pushes Spencer deep down in her heart and mind. GH writers should see this and write about how Trina is feeling with the emotion of losing Spencer but they have her run through the park behind Joss. No wonder they are losing viewers and it is their fault.

Yes, that is 100 percent true. I totally agree with both posts regarding Trina's grieving process! General Hospital needs to continue with the storyline of Trina's grieving over Spencer; that's the story. Yes, their ratings are diminishing. I'm not sure if they care about the facts or the ratings at this point.
@@ericaellis4983 GH could have knocked this story of Trina grieving in a spectacular way that would help many folks, their main concern was Jason and he has been a disappointment to me and I like him.

Yes, you are right, this was a spectacular storyline, and you are right, it could have helped so many people, young and old, with grief, but GH is blowing it.
In full display!🎉🎉🎉🎉 Spencer and Trina will never be forgotten at all. Aka Nicolas and Tabyana are the one and only Super Couple of all time on daytime soap opera TV; they made history. No matter who, hatred, jealousy, or envy tries to erase their union, that will never happen. They taught us all that love has no color or boundaries, and the heart wants what it wants without any denying it. For almost three years. I give my gratitude to these two young characters for sharing this important love journey story with all of us 🙏.

I totally agree with your post. Spencer and Trina's love journey was the price of gold. I'm happy
happy with what we got with talented Nicolas, who had been here for almost three years, and phenomenal Tabyana and Sydney, who were co-stars and leading ladies. The writers didn't tear them apart or break up. Thank God! Their focus was only on Jason and company. Nicolas Chavez left on a high note for his career to skyrocket. Maybe one day Nicholas will return as Spencer Cassidine. I will hold on to hope 🤞.
Well, the supercouple Sprina obviously means nothing to the world of daytime! The only supercouples who matter are Carson, Chalynn, Jasam, Jex, LnL, Millow, Sante and Vanna!

Why did the writers of GH never loved Spencer Cassadine? And they were the ones who created him in the first place! Not to mention his "horrible" personality! Oh, well. At least he's finally at peace with the only one who never abandoned him and that's God the maker. 👼🙏
The writers made very strange decisions as far as Spencer Cassadine goes.

@@CentralCityCitizenMedia If the late Gloria Monty hadn't created the Cassadines as such a villainous crime family back in 1981, the Cassadines would have gotten the love and respect from the other writers after her. Like they've done with like the Quartermaines, the Hardy-Webbers, the Scorpio-Joneses and the Spencers.

I do not know what's the reason he did not come back sometimes I wonder if its us that boosted his ego ,i think to myself how could he not think of taby and what his absence would do to her character,not saying to stay on fully but come back and give the story line a finale then leave ,i feel like I am watching a series that got cancelled and did not wrap up well
I can't speak to NAC's ego and what role the fandom played in boosting it, but I'd like to think that he tried to negotiate a return, but couldn't reconcile the demands of the show while making himself available to audition and start work on other projects. And remember Sydney Mikayla left NAC behind so that she could go finish college and she did a movie, too. Tabyana will thrive as long as she gets good scripts. Thanks for commenting!
