Oh, we know about him. I follow mostly commentary channels, and a large chunk of the people I follow are from the UK, and they've covered him, Elfaba, and Mizzy frequently.
That “thirst trap while also being goofy and silly” thing is a thing I think a lot of groomers do. It ups the degree of severity to which they can invasively and brazenly hit on you, without allowing you to realize why you’re so deeply uncomfortable, since they’re being so disarming and lighthearted. It also gives them the (even easier than usual) out of saying they’re “just joking around” if you do actually express said discomfort. It’s extremely effective especially when you’re young and unsure of yourself or your boundaries, and as someone who was groomed A LOT in my youth, it’s a very specific vibe that still makes me immediately nauseous.
