The potager removal was a great decision; why have something taking up space just because someone else liked it? Having a functional (and pretty) raised bed garden and bees in there is so much better. The improvements you and Tommy have done are really impressive; you are so talented!

Nice to revisit the beginnings of the transformation of your property. I’m sure you were surprised how much has been accomplished. If the naysayers looked at the state of the potager before Linda left, you’d have to realize it was not in very good condition due to it’s age and the heavy pruning needed to navigate through it. It was time for a change. You are both excellent stewards of this property, inside and out.

And what wonderful changes they were. Metal edging and huge boulders. Landscape lighting. Giving that massive Oak a new lease on life and trimming up the hollies. Painting the window trim beautiful dark color. Huge improvements. Back yard starting from scratch. Fencing was a must. Defining the new space. Removing the potager great decision. Giving Tommy a patch of grass. Priceless. Inside beautiful bold wallpaper and updated paint. Kitchen was a much need remake. Beautiful home now ready for the next century. Enjoyed seeing all your changes.

In a kinda blue mood late Friday after work I was so glad to have this to kick back with some wine and remember all you have done in the short time in that amazing home and with the beautiful property, now properly yours and Tommy's. I want to tell you how much I truly enjoy your videos (except the bees honestly, I live an ethically vegan life and although you are doing nothing to harm the bees and they are such a gift to your garden, as long as no honey is harvested from the crop that is their own, guess I'd be okay with it) anyway, your weekly arrangements in your unique containers are so inspirational and fun! And yes, you both have full time jobs and what you have accomplished in this 'other' time is remarkable, not to mention $$$. I loved the original tours of your previous home where you first came on the RUclips scene via Linda and I remember the shock (good) when you initiated your own channel in the new house. Wow! and I said 'rightly so' , since you are now loving caretakers of that place, with a new style and personality that means you are living your life there. Thank you for initiating your social media relationship with us and I hope you continue to thrive on RUclips and in that glorious property - and oh btw, I'm so glad to see that backyard grass and would be personally thrilled if you find it in both your decisions and budget to do the same out front. Let me end on a note of sincere condolences on the loss of your beloved dog.

Congratulations on your 1st year! It’s good to be reminded of all the maintenance issues you both had to address before you could get to the “ fun stuff”. All the exterior changes you and Tommy made were huge improvements to the property ( yes even the pottage, which I never really got in the first place. 😊) The KITCHEN, is stunning! You and Tommy have so impressed us! Your detail to the bones of your home and property are what make for a long and healthy life of the house, granted it’s not the fun stuff but the sound foundation improvements are safeguarding the pretty things you have added on top of that. Removing the pottage to make room for your flower cutting garden was a great call. You have a beautiful airy style of floral arrangement which I really love!

Just love this recap. I especially love that the front garden still has the basic footprint and feel of the old one... just with great updates with lighting, hardscapes and plantings. Looked amazing in the fall footage with all the pumpkins and ornamental kales. Perfect house for this type of decorating. The kitchen was so perfectly and subtlety done. That sink and cabinet color are a match made in heaven. And what can I say about that wallpaper!!!! Absolutely jaw dropping gorgeous! What an impact in such a small space. Amazing! I was one of those who lost my mind when the potagea came out. But I have Linda's book , so can visit it anytime I want. I would love to see how you've decorated the living room and dining room. BTW ... your floral are arrangements are beautiful.

After seeing your other home on a walk-through with Linda, I meant to ask you why you decided to buy this home? It was so beautiful and you did so much to it. I'm glad you started a RUclips channel. Hi! Yes, we wanted a little more space. We loved our old home but we wanted 2 or more full baths. Our old home was 1.5. Plus, we loved this house as we knew Linda and walked by it everyday so when we had the opportunity to purchase it off market, we couldn’t turn it down! 😊

Depends on your zone and sunlight in that area but I love boxwoods and yews! 😊
