Your rolls look amazing! Great job! I made Hassleback potatoes once. I felt like they were a lot of extra work, but they were yummy. Just not sure if I felt they were worth the effort. I actually had everyone stop what they were doing on Christmas morning, and made them listen to me saying… ‘it has been a rough, especially rough time for the world and to celebrate ANYTHING feels undeserved BUT! Because of this…the kids gave the most thoughtful and beautiful gifts to each other and me and their dad and their actions had rounded out and brillliantly and loving completed Christmas for everyone.Not even kidding. It all had such meaning and took time to complete or gather or procure. 😊🥰 I love it so much. I also want to add that I guessed correctly that Elijah was going to say that just being home with his beloved family WAS his favorite thing. ❤️ These are the best things EVER….EEEEVEEEERRR….for a parent to head and see. My favorite part of Christmas was just having my children gathered around , being well enough after a hospitalization and long recovery . And also that my dream is finally coming true tomorrow of finishing my degree .
I love the Lifesavers books in the stockings. I used to get one from Santa every year. I was so nostalgic for it this year I put one in my own stocking.

Heads up on the bikes, saw another youtuber use one and they (he looked into others to compare) cannot get wet at all. He thought since the battery compartment is closed (covered) it would be ok & make sense (ie. parked outside of a store, school etc) but not, it stops working. So if the kids are taking them to places, I'd make sure it's not rainy weather.
Hey. I saw you making the Haselback potatoes and i just grimaced for you. They’re a lot of work for potatoes that taste like potatoes! It’s better to just slice the potatoes and layer them in a caserole with herbs and butter.

Thanks for sharing your Christmas with us. I too came from a big family and just being together brought me great joy. I am much older now and quite a few have passed away. The ones that are left still gather for the holiday. The glue in the family was Mom and Dad who are now gone to be with the Lord. So watching your videos has been great. It brings back fond memories.
Oh I want an electric bike so much! They are so expensive though and out of my budget I’ve wanted one for a few years now, my hubby and I wanted them for when we RV. Looks like you’ll enjoy them ! In Canada we usually have turkey for Christmas. We have jiggs dinner in Newfoundland. Turkey and boil a pot of water with salt meat, veggies and peas pudding.
