Are the core to edge magnets glued in the slot or are they snapped in? Curious if one could easily mod it. Also is the edge to corner magnet in the edge in a plastic groove or is it just glued in? I don't want to buy this and mod it if it's not durable.

I just opened up the pieces and I'm pretty sure both the edge-core and the corner-edge mags are glued in. Since there's I can see a little glue residue around in the inside of the edges. Up to you if you wanna mod it :)

Thanks for the reply. I might be brave enough to try it when some else finds the right magnet strength for it.

You mean core to corner magnets because there are no core to edge magnets .

Hey I'm curious, do you know if the different versions need different sized magnets?
Like is the little gap the same size in every version (54mm-55mm-56mm) or does it change according to the size of the cube

Hi I'm sorry I don't have the other sizes so I have no clue

Uhmm I don't if I am this late to ask a question for modding my Guhong pro M but, how do I install the magnets in the edges?
Is north pole to north pole in magnets?
Or south pole to north pole in magnets?
And is the edges only have no magnets? Like no need to add some magnets on the ball core?
    Thank you

You need the correct sized magnets and super glue. For the polarity, you need to makes sure it's flipped the right way.
To do so, just place the magnets against the ball core in the way that it repels the core, if it attracts, just flip the magnet and try the other side. Once you are certain about which side of the magnets is the correct polarity, super glue it on to the edge.
It's hard to explain in writing but I hope this helps :)
