at about 1 /23 the old wood frame building was in an area called the square,when i was a lad we fetched all the wood from there when it was demolished,you could then, no health and safety rules ,the wood was all sawn up with a bow saw (no chain saws then )it was all burnt on the open fire ,we lived at windsor place ,so all the wood was pushed through the street ,then down chapel street and into windsor place,god knows what we were exposed to asbestos ,lead paint,bostin film though well done dennis regards phil buttery
