Apart from the bing-bang approach, most points are still valid after 6 years as well. Hopefully one day most organization's C-level executive will truly understand how to become more adaptive towards change.

Awesome.. The big bang approach should be used with caution, and should be smartly used

Wow, she is so bad at that thing she calls "Agile". She literally says that slamming entire company in 2 week intervals and getting roadmap will make you an enlighted organization. It was probably a legendary mess. I was leading few Agile transformations in last 10 years and definitely only a person at CIO level wouldnt be fired for such awful ideas.

To the big bang reference spark and ing and Nuuday (tdc) - ing went for a iterative process, spark and Nuuday a/s (Former TDC) went for big bang.. sample sizes are small and effects are diverse..

Interesting! So is she saying that she implemented agile using waterfall approach?

@syed why would say that ? i'm trying to understand your point(new to agile and scrum ). I believe she mentions that product owners were given ownership of the backlog. Plus she mentions that the teams were focused on developing one product. Isn't this traditional scrum and 100% agile ?

Why no one asking how they measure productivity, I am so curious!!!

Using velocity, how many story point that team could deliver in one sprint?
If the team deliver similar number story point every sprint, then the team is healthy. If it not, it means not healthy, you need to find why. And if it increases every sprint, your team is growing.
      IMHO :)

Assuming DT isn't gaming the point, which quite likely if it had became their KPI.

Why would you need to know this Wouldn't it be more interesting to measure how much value the team/company deliver to customers? How much impact the delivered features bring to users? And why not measure the quality (number of bugs found on production)? IMHO all of this is more important than pure productivity. We can produce a lot of new code, but if the code does not deliver real value or if it is poor quality than new features don't matter. It's just my opinion though :)
