Longmill mk2 CNC router intro | RATTLECAN FAB SHOP with James O'Rear
A brief introduction to the newest tool in the shop: the Sienci Labs Longmill mk2 30x48 CNC router mill. This is considered a hobby grade machine and uses a Makita router as the spindle to hold 1/4" and 1/8" shank tooling.

While we did purchase a starter set of tooling from the manufacturer and I have been aquiring additional capability by adding tools from IDC Woodcraft. Garrett Fromme runs the company and they concentrate on supplying tooling for hobby grade machines as well as hosting a wealth of informative videos on their RUclips channel. Garrett's review of the Longmill was pivotal n me deciding to purchase this machine.
