Micheal being so excited about Pam’s paintings is my all-time favourite scene. It’s one of the first times Micheal is seen as an actual good person and it’s just so sweet and heartwarming.

Yes he has great depth as a character. Of course he's rude and has zero filter when it comes to just saying anything that pops into his head and is kind of an ass sometimes but in his awkward way he loves all his co-workers.

The Office is definitely a hit, but narratively it really suffers after Michael leaves. Then it’s tolerable at best until the finale. I’m not saying one is better than the other; I’m simply saying Schitt’s Creek is equally stellar and is something to watch if you don’t want to get Peacock and watch The Office.

The airport scene - Jenna was actually telling Steve how much she appreciated him
The 9,986,000 minutes song - Steve had no idea that they were going to sing that

I've never seen any kind of confirmation from official sources regarding the second fact. Tried to search for it and everything. Where have you heard it from? I know the teapot scene was discussed in the Office Ladies podcast, and I'm still going through the episodes so I don't know if they talked about the last dundies scene, but they haven't even reached the season where Steve leaves yet. I always see people talking about this tidbit like it is universally known but I've never seen anyone from the production team or from the cast actually saying it. Would love to be proved wrong, though, that is such a heartwarming story

Oscar asking Angela to live with him is one of the best scenes in The Office. It shows that The Office is so much more than comedy, it's about character development and friendships (and romantic relationships too but that's obvious).

Since then I’ve wondered if they’ve ever given any thought about a potential relationship involving Cece and Phillip just to make Dwight and Jim brother-in-laws. It’s been my biggest fan theory since The Office (US) was canceled.

Surprised nobody mentioned Jim cutting his tie to match Pam's screwed veil. It's such a small and sweet scene, but the way he so casually does it, replies to her "Now we are even", and she holds not to break down, while making the mental picture gesture, ALWAYS gets me. No grand gestures, not big monologues, just a small act to say "I'm with you". Oof.
There are several reasons all viewers cheer for Pam and Jim as a couple and find them so relatable, and this scene encapsulates it perfectly.

It’s the Oscar and Angela scene for me. They’re both such cold and awkward characters, but they have an amazing connection. The senator drove a wedge between them, but they overcame it together. Angela had a baby to support, and her ex husband had thrown her out on the streets. Oscar wasn’t going to let her go through that alone. They had one of the best storylines in the show in my opinion.

It especially warms my heart to see how Angela had been judgemental and cruel towards him because of her religion, but overcame that and saw him as a person first, then a friend, and by then his sexual orientation doesn’t matter. It’s so beautiful, this show is actually genius writing.

Personally, I liked Creed's line in the finale when he says he still has his medal from Flonkerton. For someone like him who ultimately values nothing finds value in something so mundane it's testament to the connection they all shared and tribute to the very heart of the show.

I think Michael underneath his annoying and obnoxious personality is a sweet, caring, and nice person. I think because Michael was bullied as a child, he was taught that it was cool to be obnoxious and was taught that saying rude jokes was cool and funny. Its when Holly shows up that he realizes that being a nice person is cooler than being the way he is. Which is just amazing, character building. I always thought the show was the growth of Michael. Every season he usually becomes more and more of a better person right up until he leaves, when his character is complete. And I think mostly Jim and Pam realize that Michael was really a good person.

Oscar and Angelas relationship is honestly beautiful. she's so conservative and cold, which Oscar acknowledges, yet they went through so much together and the compassion Oscar shows her in the end, idk gives me chills.
