Look at the dining area at around 20 minutes in. Keep just the two candelabras with the three candles and maybe (!) the white soup terrine. Clear the rest of the table and it looks so much more accomplished. That mirror is exquisite! The lamp holders ought to be more basic as to not compete with it! The golden paintings are nice, but NOT next to that mirror. Those blue dishes above and beneath them look way too staged. Hang the plates organically up all on the right side of the mirror. Place one blue/white lamp holder on the left side. At 20: 39 those crystal glasses on the table do go perfect with this style! Love all you have here, but not necessarily all stuffed/staged.
Anja's house is one big advertisement for Ikea :) Stacie's home is too much of everything. Feels immature. Kristie's house had gorgeous side tables and mirrors. But also here: less is more. The coffee table filled with stacks of books, so your coffee cup doesn't fit on it anymore :( A few well placed beautiful items, without excess, give a room a more balanced and peaceful look. This must complement each other. Not compete.
