In Nov 2014 I was in Wilkes-Barre PA (US) for a job for a week so I rented a room there for a week. One evening while having a drink with the American landlord and his father, i came to know of this plan of carving out a territory out of NE of India for christians by the US. This was revealed to me by the father of the landlord who was a priest (in a church) and visiting his son from another city. The manner in which this priest(Father) talked about it felt awkward and uncomfortable to me but I just brushed it aside out of politeness.
