Alex Marcano check out Overton too, you can do both Glacier and over to Overton and back to finish Glacier. So talking on Bellamy Road is pretty challenging too.
Finally rode stillwell for the first time. I was hyped to ride it, but couldn't find any friends willing to ride until today. It does not disappoint. My new favorite trail in long island. Love the drops, but needs more jumps, a features to ride over. But hey you can't have it all. I will probably start riding this solo since my friend was getting killed on the climbs.
@@TheCranemeister do you think a dual sport can do some of these trails, have you ever seen anyone out there with a dual sport. I know it wouldn't be good for jumping and large rocks. Just wondering since I just got a dual sport. If it can't cut it then maybe I'll just pick up a used older hard tail MB. Thanks.
I think you could do bethpage state park but I think Stillwell might be too much. I've seen a cyclecross bike in Stillwell so it could probably be done if your up for a good challenge.
I recently started watching your channel because I am from long island and got into Mountain Biking during this whole pandemic. What is your PR for the stillwell loop? And what time would a professional do it in? Also do you know the all time record?
@@TheCranemeister wow. I just started this loop. I did the first 2 blacks and the green in like 25 mins. Some people absolutely fly down this trail. I must say the inclines are where it tests you. Great trail. Are there any others on long island that are at this level?
Yup definitely muddy. it was actually my first real mtb ride every. I just got my bike a week ago. Climbing was a pain with all the roots and rocks wet
Hi I'm the kid who you gave the Switchblade to demo last Saturday. I was wondering if you would like to watch my review of it on my channel and give me any feedback. Also I've been considering getting a wearable gimbal maybe this summer, do you think it is worth it? Anyways keep up the great riding footage!
+Venture I will definitely watch it tonight. It was nice to meet you. I really really like my gimble, it makes my videos much more watchable with the Hero4 with video stabilization. You made my day saying you knew me from RUclips. Thanks!
I gotta go back. Grew up in syosset, would ride an adult trike with mtb tires in there all day.
Great video! Stillwell is not that easy. You guys are really good; nice job!
Thanks man!
Gotta check this trail out! I'm out in Centereach so glacier / rp / and cathedral have been my go to but this trail looks so rad.

Stillwell is cool,, a bit smaller than ideal for my taste, I often park on trail view.
To stretch the ride,, it’s not bad 😊

I love Stillwell. glad you had fun!
Stillwell looks good after the TLC it got a few weeks ago. Nice video!
+MTB-AC Thank you!
Most of the trails don't look to hard, think I'll try my dual sport out there. Nice vid
You can give it a shot. Thank you!

GoPro vids make things looks easier than what they are usually.

My record for the loop including the red(loco) is 27:59. I think it has been done in under 25 minutes. Thanks

@@TheCranemeistercool car, not very common. I just went to Stillwell today for the first time.
Yes it's rare. His is modified too. Pretty quick. Was Stillwell muddy? I rode the beach again today
Yup definitely muddy. it was actually my first real mtb ride every. I just got my bike a week ago. Climbing was a pain with all the roots and rocks wet
Well congrats on the new ride! Stillwell is definitely tougher when wet.
