So you've had a FREE telephone safety review with Safety Inspectors UK, what happens next?
Now we've had chance to hear more about your business and its activities, we will put together a proposal based in what was discussed, we will compare what you have against what is needed for effective Health and Safety within your business.
The proposal will summarise 3 key legal requirements:
1. Safety Policy, this sets out your company commitment to health and safety and shows who is responsible for what. It is the starting point of all health and safety to ensure the safety of employees, members of the public and business safety in general.
2. Risk Assessment of activities and premises this may include details on whether Method Statements and a Fire Risk Assessment are needed.
3. Training, we will look at where staff require formal training, this may we as simple as annual DSE display screen equipment training, making sure staff undergo a basic assessment annually, it could also look at whether there is more specialist training needed to undertake a task, or work with certain machinery.
We will look at all these things and come back to you with a plan, proposal and costings.
