I played the Dariusburst game in a retro arcade / arcade museum today, and was taken by the music. The combination of a space game, subwoofer and butkicker, then this music, it made for a very special experience. Thanks for uploading this.
i saw this game for sale on Steam but before i'd buy it i thought let me check out the soundtrack. So i come here and well I don't know about you all but I just can't blast space ships and space aliens with lasers and plasma and rockets to this kind of music. Gradius 3 and Zero Wing gave me music to blow up aliens to!
Zuntata is more about atmosphere than most other shmup composers. The aesthetic of darius fits that anyways since its a more trippy experience about alien fish bosses anyways. More traditional rocking music does not really fit the atmosphere that the series is going for

It's just not Darius without Zuntata being exceptionally weird, yet good in the soundtrack.
That has to be one of the truest words, I love how unconventional Zuntata gets, but not in a lunatic way.

The music is in sync with the stage progression and action onscreen. It's definitely unconventional but it blends with the game perfectly
