They replied that day and said that it's first come first serve and that I should be receiving mine in the next week or so, and they are trying to send emails before each shipment
I have one and find it's not the barrels, the breech block is where the dart jam happens. Also holding the pump forward makes a difference with thick foam, Worker/ACC. That weird delay fire happens when I have a tight bolt seal. Holding the pump loose fires the thicker foam at lower fps. So it's either the breech diameter too tight or the bolt orifice inflating the dart foam as well. I'm going to try putting a slot in the bolt tip, vacuum breaker.
About the bamboo darts... as an avid EG gummy ammo user (which also uses sealing rings), sealing rings around the ammo do indeed work very well. They really allow for an excellent seal without adding too much friction. I do cast my own EG ammo from moulds, and oh boy, does it make a difference whether the sealing ring is well done or not. So small wonder you found them performing as advertised. *_Disclaimer:_* this comment is _exclusively_ about sealing rings on ammo NOT being a gimmick but a feature that does _actually_ work, and not about ANY other quality, characteristic, or lack thereof, of EG nor DZ ammo and/or blasters.
How does the sealing ring ammo do at higher fps, I'm looking for the best ammo for my tuned longshot the thing averages 245fps with elites(haven't chronoed it with half darts) and I'm just not very happy with worker gen1 and gen2 in it.
Would you be able to link me to a guide on casting your own darts? It sounds like an interesting way to make my lower end sealed breach blasters a little big better.
@@redenginner Alas, no. Casting solid, single material stuff (like the "gummy" ammo) in rubber or silicone is easy, but casting Nerf darts would need casting in polyurethane flexible foam, which is waaaay beyond my pay grade. Sorry.

It's a simple, open, 1-piece outer mould filled with termofusible plastic and with a simple rod to act as inner mould. For waffle heads, you'd need a fully enclosed 2- or 3-piece mould. Sorry for not being able to help further.
The tool snaps into the stock, you gotta press hard and it will click. Some Teflon tape around the barrel interfaces will help reliability. Large headed darts will still jam though.
Mine is just as bad with darts. Pretty much only works with my worker short darts and the dzp darts. Doesn't work at all with worker full length. Those have way too thick foam.
I have a dzp. Taken it apart multiple times now. From what I can tell the dart gate on the breech is very tight which is why thicker foam darts jam...slot. bamboo darts are wonderful though...even in my other springers.
Have you tried sanding down the ID of the dart gate yet? Could you please make a post on r/nerf with your results? 230 FPS with a new spring sounds amazing, but I don't care if it won't feed reliably.
@@Fgtfv567 I sanded it down yesterday and it's much better now. Workers do feed but the fps is a little less. But the bamboo darts get a higher fps in my caliburn as well so I think its good.
I've come to the same conclusion from testing without a barrel. Breech block/dart gate is too tight. First I'm going to cut a vacuum break in the front of the bolt like Caliburn rams, to see if the darts are inflating (crazy I know) if no improvement its likely getting bored/sanded
From what I am reading from other folks dzp posts: caliburn barrels seem to be easy to install and can shoot pretty well. Someone posted getting about 185 with a 14" caliburn barrel.
Guy brought his to the SENC War #58 today. He was saying it was super finicky with ammo. Jammed about every 3rd dart from the community dart bin. He was using the plastic barrel and full lengths only.

In my opinion, the lack of reliability with ALL darts through the DZP is a serious dealbreaker. I expect every blaster I make or use to be perfectly reliable and predictable. If the DZP can't feed certain types of darts, that's fine. My brass breeched longshot can't fire waffles and I'm aware of that. It consistently can't fire waffles, and it can consistently fire the other darts that I know WILL work for it like workers. But if the DZP has inconsistent velocities and cycling through the SAME AMMO, that's a very serious problem. Further compounding this issue would be taking this to a game and using a community dart pool where many different types of darts are in it leading to further inconsistencies. Dart Zone, I know you watched this video, and I know you're reading through these comments. YOU NEEDED TO TEST EVERY SINGLE TYPE OF DART THAT THE HOBBY USES THROUGH THE DART ZONE PRO FOR A CONSIDERABLE AMOUNT OF TIME. Combined with the limited time that I used Drac's prototype (yes, in person!), I think I'm going to hold off buying a DZP until someone, either from the community or from Dartzone, can make this reliable with every dart type.

Were those the black and orange accufakes from amazon Beret? Yeah I have had the heads pop off a couple of mine as well. But yeah the foam still fires after the heads pop off at least they have done so out of my tri-strike Draco.
If the driving band darts become a standard, DZ will sell millions of them. If they keep them as an Accustrike brand style premium ammo, probably not. But, never underestimate cheap copies if popular enough. DZ could easily cut that off by pricing their own darts accordingly. They probably won't do so well in flywheel blasters in terms of longevity/performance. The driving bands will likely wear off in modified blasters, which will affect the seal when swapped back into spring air blasters.
I put on a Worker afg and seems pretty sturdy to me. There is some wobble because the priming rods arent help super tight into the shell. But if youre not torquing it around, youll have no problems. The Worker afg holds the pic rail much tighter, so no wobble at that connection point.
You should try using Worker full-length darts in the DZP. They should be the same foam as regular half-length workers, but they'd fit in drums and such.

Afraid this will be a no for me. That expensive a package without great compatibility with most darts just does not sound like a good buy. Hopefully the Mk II will be better.

Better darts is what will win ... no body wants new and different (Nerf Ultra) unless its also better ... people always want BETTER. ... And a new dart that is compatible with existing blasters is objectively BETTER than a new dart that isnt compatible. also Nerf Ultra doesnt actually appear to be better.
Beret I really hope the ultra flops and dart zone rubs the fact that the pro did pretty well in deep. That way hasbro can finally create something revolutionary for the hobby, like the longshot and N-Strike magazine was back in the day.

i shot one of mine fifty times into a wall to torture test it. it blew a split out the side but the head stayed on like a part of the T-1000.

As Bradley Phillips' testing taught me, sealed breaches are picky with ammo. Those issues are to be expected.

try using a ram rod and rag to clean the inside of the barrel.

You should be able to get a better M4 style buffer tube stock for it, especially one thats more sturdy.

Yup I am familiar with them because I own some since they are $9 for 400 on Amazon which is good for decent accurate darts.

Did you try putting on a different vertical grip? Does it get rid of that wobble?
I did and while there was less wobble, it didn't completely disappear.

Yup unfortunately the thick foam of full length workers experience similar problems.
I had the same problem. The workers seemed to stick transitioning into the metal barrel, like the heads caught.

There's a lip at the front of the magwell that doesn't allow the 50rd drum to fully seat. Probably a simple mod but would require shell cutting.
