Hi Griff! Shari here with Express Documents LLC. I'm going to research this tonight. I am in Florida and each and every county is different here in Florida.
Griff, I appreciate your messages to us and understand this all , but like you sad this is Florida and not my state. Not going to leave sleep over this.
👋 if identification has to be copied per the receiving organizations instruction, we must show the receiving organization the federal law showing them copying military ID is prohibited if military ID is all the signer has available.
In my experience, the title companies know military IDs are not to be copied. That is probably the reason Lee County said 5/23/2024 military IDs are no longer accepted. The issue is that military members are told not to worry about their DL expiring and some states require DL renewal in person so the Military member can't renew online or by mail.
@@GriffinNotary I mean it’s hard for me believe that notaries are making these decisions in this field. I’m not new new but I always ask why are there so many instructions when I get a package. I see why. Some notaries just need mentorship. I’m afraid to make the big leap to full time because I don’t see consistent work. Thank you for offering your assistance
@robertacasha8547 Please explain what ID issues you are referring to. Notaries don't fix ID issues. Either they have the correct valid ID, or they don't.

Correct its only Florida as a pilot program to see if it reduces fraud and if it does then other states might implement it.
Don’t feel bad, not only did I not receive the email, maybe the email is for notaries in your area that are making these big boo-boo mistakes

Have you gotten your REAL ID, I think Virginia will require it next year. Seems to only be used for flying
Nope
I have had a document that was created by an attorney that fixes that ID issue. I've been using for 12 years. Hit me up if you want a copy.
Would you be able to send me the document as well?
