Good luck! Get a few go-to recipes under your belt for each meal and snacks. This will help you break the habit of building your meals around meat and other animal products. Experiment to find out what you like, and don’t be afraid to try mock meats and other products to help you make the transition. However, one of the reasons why I love this channel is because she focuses more on whole foods, which are healthier. You can do this!

I have made oats with caramelized bananas and that caramel sauce for the last 3 days. We cannot get enough of it! I did add toasted pecans. you’ve saved my life with the toasting the breadcrumbs tip! last time i made katsu i wasn’t keen on doing it again because so much hot oil is messy and scares me in case i splash it
8:30 I think it is high time you sharpened your knife :D So mich nicer to be cutting anything when your knife goes through it easily! Having said that, the whole dish sounded absolutely fantastic! I have never made katsu curry but I am sure I'd love these flavours and textures!

Congrats on 300K - you truly deserve it. I have a question though...in the tofu Katsu curry recipe, you used aubergine (it's called eggplant in my country 😁). I've heard you are supposed to salt the slices for 20 minutes, rinse and dry them before use to get the bitterness out first. Is it possible/necessary to do that here ? I really want to make the recipe so I thought I'd better check first. (I love your bake trays as well, I've never seen anything like that here.😮)

Ah I've never heard of that method, I know aubergine can be bitter when it's undercooked or unripe but I wouldn't say rinsing the slices is necessary for this recipe and I've had lots of messages over the last week from people who have tried it and loved it - I hope you do too if you try it! :-) X

Target (USA) also has tofu as well as many other grocery stores that offer delivery if thats something you need for your lifestyle! Happy to offer suggestions if you ever need :)

Can you please tell me how often do you water your cilantro plants? Do they survive winter (indoors)? I noticed your cilantro plants looked so healthy. Mine died😥! Please reply when you get a chance. Great video!
We sometimes buy them from the supermarket and they only last around 4 days, I water them a little every day but this year we're growing our own so I'll see if it's any different - in general though they don't last very long! Thanks so much for watching :-) X

I usually marinate tofu if it's in a curry, for fajitas etc. but if I'm bread-crumbing it then I personally don't feel it needs marinating! Thanks so much for watching :-) X
I live in Ireland at the moment - most of the food here, especially fruit and veg, is imported since we don't have much of a warm climate, so you can pretty much find everything in supermarkets year round as it's brought in from other countries! X

Congrats on 300K - you truly deserve it. I have a question though...in the tofu Katsu curry recipe, you used aubergine (it's called eggplant in my country 😁). I've heard you are supposed to salt the slices for 20 minutes, rinse and dry them before use to get the bitterness out first. Is it possible/necessary to do that here ? I really want to make the recipe so I thought I'd better check first. (I love your bake trays as well, I've never seen anything like that here.😮)

Ah I've never heard of that method, I know aubergine can be bitter when it's undercooked or unripe but I wouldn't say rinsing the slices is necessary for this recipe and I've had lots of messages over the last week from people who have tried it and loved it - I hope you do too if you try it! :-) X

We sometimes buy them from the supermarket and they only last around 4 days, I water them a little every day but this year we're growing our own so I'll see if it's any different - in general though they don't last very long! Thanks so much for watching :-) X

I usually marinate tofu if it's in a curry, for fajitas etc. but if I'm bread-crumbing it then I personally don't feel it needs marinating! Thanks so much for watching :-) X

I live in Ireland at the moment - most of the food here, especially fruit and veg, is imported since we don't have much of a warm climate, so you can pretty much find everything in supermarkets year round as it's brought in from other countries! X
