After the sanity changes I think it’s very important to fight ancient guardian without nightmares unless you have a really nice worldgen where you can get him stuck between a grave and pillar. When ruins rushing I usually precraft a fire from my hammered science station and cook a few blues since cheesing guardian in a corner and getting a terrorbeak can end your run.
I was wacthing ur vid and playing at same time. In the moment u said like and sub or i ll send you a deerclops Maxwell say "I hear one of them coming"=Deerclops. I was like ._.xD I mean i was waiting him anyways but was funny what happen exactly in that moment.
Yes I always use blue caps whenever I'm in a boss fight soooo good when you have a lot of them and doesn't take too much time to eat like pierogi but I'd anyways use pierogi since to gather a ton you need to go to the blue mushroom biome underground :/

Blue caps are bad. It lowers sanity which is the most important stat for survival. If I fall below 100 sanity you're god damn right im camping gloomer for 3 days in a row
Killing shadow creatures is much less time consuming and you can use cooked green caps and taffy(waste of honey tbo) to restore it, or sleep to heal everything and skip night, then eat meatballs. Easy stuff. Btw, gloomer is good for krampus sack and goop that heals but lowers sanity. And again, sanity loss ain't that bad.
