A girl I was seeing as a teenager introduced me to this album. I'll admit that I hadn't really taken KoRn seriously until then, but this album was on repeat on a regular basis from that point. I did, and still do really resonate with the raw pain that Jonathan is giving off. It really speaks to me as a person. Thank you KoRn, for getting me through some hard fucking times.
@@thetkida it's true, metalheads in the 80s/90s were badass dudes with a " don't fuck with me" attitude and were actually chill and laid back, metalheads today are a bunch of socially inept incels.
this song reminds me a lot of what I was thinking in my head when I suffered mental abuse in elementary school. I wanted em to disappear, but I was mentally weaker than em... I mean, it feels great to hear lyrics that put words to what I was going through, even though it was many years ago.

First korn song i ever heard (back in like 99) and it was one of the first rock songs that turned me from rap to rock back then. Love the lyrics and his movement, demeanor in this video.

Never get tired of korn
Johnathan davis is a god, he had the style that no one had back in the late 90's.
Uhmmmmm Faith No More, Angle Dust....yeah, try a huge rip off. Korn was basic.
+Scott Benedict faith no more? two maybe one good hits? where are they today. ya exactly.
+Nu Metal Kid true, they where the shit back then
+Nu Metal Kid eh, maybe, maybe not.
But I like your profile pic.
Tru man, tru
Crunchy guitar getting me through those high school bullying years
i feel like this song is keeping me alive...love them forever
Best drummer Korn had. So much energy. Love this album.
Why is it that everytime I go thru something traumatic, this song is the only thing that eases things?

I turn to fucking hostile by pantera music from when metal fans were hard not a bunch of whining bitches
then you should listen to Linkin Park - Crawling, also
@@thetkida it's true, metalheads in the 80s/90s were badass dudes with a " don't fuck with me" attitude and were actually chill and laid back, metalheads today are a bunch of socially inept incels.
@@marioncarbonell6047 well said dude 🤘🏻
This band was relatable in the 90's. I remember people from all different cultures and backgrounds being Korn fans and how well it hit on the system
Its really simple but the rhythm and that tone, that crunch, the timing...its one of the most heavy and calming songs i ever listened to
Band: Korn
Song: clown
(90s)
Year: 1994
I love this song
That's nice. I hate you.
Slipknot
D
i just wonder how the people that bully jd felt when he became a successful artist
***** maybe different people become sucessfull
+Ademar Ferreira Thanks man. without u this song would not exist xD
he hired some to be his roadies

yes :D he's so insane, i mean.. he owns Ted Bundy's VW Beetle :D
Blind and Clown are by far my favourite Korn songs
Here to stay is also good
Same dude
Yeah also faget ball tongue and shoots and ladders are great
You opinions are falling way from me
Clown and make me bad is my favorite
David in drum is a sick. I love that

Says "shit" in the description for the lyrics, censors the word in the video. Makes sense.
+Ray Harlem xD
+Ray Harlem I know right, now it sounds like, "Clown you -shield- it, turn around get your face split"???
+Ray Harlem m8 xdDd
+Ray Harlem I thought that it said girl you ate shit turn around and get your face split
+Five The Devil I think it says that the second time. I heard that too but only once out of the times Hes said it
this song reminds me a lot of what I was thinking in my head when I suffered mental abuse in elementary school. I wanted em to disappear, but I was mentally weaker than em... I mean, it feels great to hear lyrics that put words to what I was going through, even though it was many years ago.
I fully agree.
Makes me feel the same, and, in fact I can totally relate to a lot of songs of this entire album.
This is the first CD I ever bought. I'm fucking in my 40's now and all the people I listened to this with including my sister are dead one way are another. Mostly drugs. I never did drugs, have my masters degree, and am the only person at my job that listening to Korn. Be yourself, there is only one you.
They've captured Davis perfectly in this clip, or should I say, Jon has captured the soul of the song in his performance of this clip!
I love my dad and mom for always playing KoRn when I was a little kid! Korn rocks!
R u 4
Dude I watched these guys cens I was 4 years old
Good parents, teaching your son listen good music!!!
You...sir had good parents
Same
"Clown you aint shit turn around get your face split" that line hasnt been more relavent than it is today.
:)
right bro
Why? Because America elected a clown as their president and someone should split his face?
that drummer can hit damn
All Hope Is Gone meaning of that phrase?
One of my favourite songs of all time. Good shit never gets old!
One of the most talented bands ever.
Help yeah man. They helped create a awesome subgebre, and will always be one of my favorite bands. Rock on bro
15th like mine of your comment j bizzle bro
People can say what they want about these bands but they were creative and talented and fun to listen too.
Imagine the "weird kid" becomes more successful then you
I dont see anything weird with him he reminds me alot of myself. Just cursed loool
@@Ihavehadmanynames7779 same xD
This video shows a Jonathon Davis before the swiftly retreating hairline.. Goddam I'm 40 with the same problem as him and know how much it sucks to get old.. Fuckin poor bastard was boolied in HS then he only gets like 6 or 7 yrs as a Rockstar before his hair runs as fast as it can away from his face 😔 the cruel sense of humor of the gods, man..
Yeah lol
@Lancer____ Dog im not trying to degrade anyone i was trying to make a joke

Korn was my first concert back in 98 when I was 11...I'll never forget it!
@@xMonicaRiots I'm glade I wasn't in that pit at that tender age, lol.
Me too! I was 14 though. Korn and Rob Zombie. The Rock is Dead Tour in Auburn Hills, MI
I saw them in 1999 and was one of the best shows I ever saw.
@@ryandonohue6771 Yes! Such an amazing show. I was in awe of Rob Zombie's stage show.
Seen them in 2000 sick and twisted tour
Korn is one of those bands that did their finest work on their first album.
I disagree, I think their best work was on their later albums
Edit: Wtf was I smoking? Korn's early work is way better than their newer work
@@pecemakor917 i personally agree with him
I feel the same way with deftones
@@ash_aiden I changed my mind, Korn's older work is way better
30 years gone & yet still one the heaviest songs ever.…..

Man i forgot how good korn was in the 90s.. Absolutely stunning
this song will always speak to me and my heart cause its exactly how my father treated me growing up
Now this is some great Christmas music
When they get to "Hate me clown cause I'm not from your town " how do people not lose it?? I'm 40 years old banging my head so fucking hard. A near impossibility to contain yourself.
This song holds a very special place in my heart- it’s not only one of the most memorable and iconic songs, but it also reminds me of listening to this album on repeat for years on my poor overworked Walkman all throughout middle school 🥹🫶🏼🖤
First korn song i ever heard (back in like 99) and it was one of the first rock songs that turned me from rap to rock back then. Love the lyrics and his movement, demeanor in this video.
Still to this day my favorite korn guitar riff! So bad ass the verse is awesome and that opening riff is amazing!!! Love it!!!!
Those guitar riffs in the verses are creepy (but awesome).
***** dude that's exactly what I was thinking
These riffs are insane. Idk how they don’t smash their instruments every time they play this song
There was something so dark and grimey about early Korn from their first album. Back when there was actual shock value and a punch in the nuts in music
"Clown you shweeehooo-it!!!!"
Francis D lmao
This song has been stuck in my head all day
Love the song, but hate that it's censored, especially on the official Korn VEVO.
Yeah we get enough of that shit on TV.
If you can't dig a KoRn song, you're not alive.
It took me 21 years to learn that. 21 years too long

my opinion the best korn album of all time
When I heard this song first on my buddy's CD player back in 97 we got high and listened to the whole album 3 times in a row.
Ive listen to them since they came to the surface and im 50 and still love them rock on guys

I’ve been getting bullied by so many people in my life it was hell so I listen to this over over and over again I never wanted enemy’s I got bullied for anything I got into fights and got jumped I got slapped by someone for just sitting down I felt hell everyday but thanks to all my friends and family to keep helping me I thank korn and everyone who help me
Got physically bullied in middle school, stay strong man we’re here for you brotha Korn is like a family 💪
God damn I miss 90s because of grunge and nu metal.
at least we live in an age where we can EASILY find any movie/show/song from the past without owning a bunch of bulky DvD and CD players or VCRs. finding a place for dvds and cds where they won't get lost is a bitch lmao.
Yeah I love nirvana and bands like them but I’ve also been listening too KoRn recently and it’s great, I wish I was alive then

My high school was basically spent listening to Quicksand, Helmet, Iceburn, Into Another, there were so many amazing bands at Revalation Records back then, and there's Korn, Tool, Deftones, I always get chills listening to this stuff, music means so much as a teenager, now I'm deep into my 40s and still love all of this to my core
It’s hard to pick a favorite KoRn song but this is up there. I was married for 12 yrs to an abusive husband and this was my anthem after my divorce.
Gotta love this crispy riffs of Korn
This song is such a BANGER🤘🎸, now hail to the metal gods.
