FYDE DUO is a good combination of Surface series with Chrome OS software which is a beast level, but people will feel more reassuring if there are benchmarks or some comparison with famous models.... also please make a video in comparison with a Tab.. bec its 2 in 1 right.
Just discovered this OS. Really neat and awesome. Using it on my Surface Go 2. So far so good. Camera is the only issue though. Would really like for it to be supported someday.
Q1: How long time is the official support plan for the device? e.g., system and security updates. Q2: Do you or your colleagues use it for dev or coding? Have you already tested the performance and how is the experience in general? (Considering it's ARM based) Q3: Do you have 11.11 sale for the device?🤣
Q1. We have not yet published an EOL date for Fydetab Duo, but we will at least match Chrometablets in similar specs, so 6 years minimum. Q2. depending on what you do really, in prep of this vid I was using the Linux subsystem to setup Jupyter Notebook and did some fun python AI algo, all went smoothly. Although the host is ARM based, the Linux subsystem actually lives in a VM, so it can run amd64 if you wish. Q3. We have early bird offer for the first batch of orders on Indiegogo

How would this tablet be fine for note taking? As in, what apps work best, which ones with text recognision are available, can I get samsung notes etc. I would buy one anyway but that's the aspect I'm most interested in and I haven't seen a lot of people talk about it.
Will be watching your career with great interest. I will never buy a 1st gen product. Probably after gen 3. It should atleast match chromebooks with 8yrs of support and should have some path beyond that too. Perhaps through the community.

i tried many times install linux subsystem bit its always fail i tried all links that you provide in your site all keep show failed in linux side android worked fine but linux i dont know why it didint
waayyy to expensive compared to the hp x2 11 and that has lte. yes ii know its screen may not be as good but honestly ppl dont need 2k screens in tablet.....they only think they do. the hp is good enough for most ppl and it $300 less. if this had an hdmi input and lte it might be worth it

Sure, you can boot Ubuntu on this, it’s easy. For rigs that boot Ubuntu, they aren’t necessarily able to boot Chromium OS btw

It’s 2560 x 1600, so roughly 3:2
16x10. I answered my own question. Hoped for a 3:2, but 16:10 still works as a tablet. A big one, though at 12"

x2 use snapdragon 7c cpu and its quite laggy for deaktop like work. I see this one lags too, but its faster thab 7c
at least make the video not over exposed........
