Badass Bike love the sound of these old sports bike's makes me miss my 750 and 1000 this is the sound all boys with the zx6 and 636 are looking for these bike's are what started today's sports bike's
Sweet ride! I have a pretty much identical one, except mine is a 77 and has an original air box and exhaust. They ride surprisingly well and are quite peppy.
I’m certainly enjoying mine. Just had an issue with the tachometer, as the cable dropped out. Apparently the collar fastening it in had loosened. Reattached it, but still won’t work yet. Only issue I’ve had with it so far,
@@roaddirttv Make sure you lube it and the speedo cable well. Use bearing grease and it will operate without issues for years to come. It also has a zerk fitting on the swingarm. Grease that until grease squeezes out from the sides. These have bushings instead of needle bearings and they will wear out pretty fast if they are not greased regularly. Other than that, these things are pretty much bullet proof.
Makes me miss mine. It was identical to this one. It’s wasn’t a deer or dog for the reason I sold mine. It was a flattened tail pipe in a curve. Fortunately it was at a slow speed and I had a skid bar. Didn’t help that every time I got on it, I was in a hurry. Spent to much time on one wheel. I was 23 at time tho in ‘78. 😊
My favourite bike from the 70's, I have two 1977 B models, and a 1980 SR650, all great fun to ride, classic
Picked up a non-running ‘79 KZ650 recently, as a parts and tinker bike. Hope to have it running soon too!

THANK YOU!!!!!
What is the top speed?
I’ve not pushed mine, but supposedly, they’ll hit 115+ mph.
Just wait for a deer or some dog runs out in front of you
