I find Petal Map's lines too thick for city navigation. I really like its compass around the navigation arrow and the progress bar on the right though. I also like that it shows you how many traffic lights are on the way. Also, like that it shows you how long it'll take to get to frequent addresses. Google, for example, shows you at what time you are going to be there, but I personally prefer Petal Maps' time of commute over Google's time of arrival. For POIs, I think Google Maps is better because when you have the navigation on, Google Maps lets you search as well as pick a POI type from the map, and the results have names displayed on the map, Petal Maps just shows the icon. I am sure you already know but Waze and HERE Maps are good alternatives too

Ja die Meldung ist dank einer unglücklichen Änderung der Google App erfolgt. Alle Virenscanner identifizieren Google aktuell als Trojaner. Das sollte bald gefixt sein
I just tried it during rush hours. G Maps and Waze both gave me a 51min ETA. Petal gave me 36min ETA. I think here in Canada traffic 🚦 data is not that accurate unfortunately. I started my trip and time kept increasing. Thus Waze was more accurate on time estimation based on bigger data pool in my city obviously. Very few people use petal in Canada. These app need lots of users to better estimate traffic.
Just tried petal map today...a and I must admit how impressed I was with it's accuracy and clear instructions... Makes want to quit waze that I've been using for a decade.
Oh too bad. I don't have a car that supports this to try out. I know that Petal Maps supports Huawei HiCar. But thats probably not supported by your car.
