id rather get the x5/x5 pro with early bird discount than x3 pro, probably cost more new, and i wouldnt trust a second hand x3. Ive used mine for a year and some, and had to repair it once.
If you game a lot then no. X3 Pro has solder joints melting issue where the device gets so hot that the solder joints under the CPU heat up and cool down rapidly causing them to crack. I didn't game much on my phone so my phone is fine after 2 years of use. I only did a battery change.

Poco X3 Pro averages 45fps while Poco X5 Pro averaged around 25-30fps.
with custom rom I can get 60 fps in poco x3 pro but temps will be higher
MIUI have this thing that lock your FPS to reduce heat
You can bypass it by doing the floating window trick
miui 14 is the most optimized system that xiaomi has made
snapdragon 860 are better cpu and faster but problem are older software vs newer of poco x5 pro which are better optimised

And hearing from the repair shop, they get a lot of x3s sent in. They recommended to buy oppo phones instead.
