A tip for actually being able to sit in chair without mods or resource packs is to dig a one block deep hole and put a llama in it, then put a trapdoor over it and then the back of the chair and armrests, when ur done splash a potion of invisibility on the llama, so now I get a pretty chair u can actually sit in!

Tip: in the fourth construction, instead of the mangrove traptors, place 2 acacia buttons so that they look like frankfurters
