Hook is one of my all-time favorite films from my childhood! And it was precisely the spot with the mermaids that fascinated me as a child and that only sparked my interest in the mermaid theme. I dream of one day getting a Jurassic Merman tail inspired by the Disney movie, and perhaps some custom whimsy or finfun fabric tails inspired by Hook.

You forgot about the Indians, the beast also talked about in the book. I heard there was a Peter Pan movie during the silent movies. Walt Disney saw it and so that’s why he wanted to make his version from the book. In the book tinker bell tries to kill windy, and the mermaids try to drown her.
