Plus for a dinghy or rowing boat, and the evo for sailers?

Correct, the EVo has hydrogeneration which is best suited for sailing boats. The only other recommendation would be if you wanted to have wheel steering and a remote throttle, then you may opt for the EVO.

Did you put the 6.0 pod in the Hunter 306? I'm curious how that works out, I'd like to do the same one day.

HI Ernesto, To get the back lit screen and to have the option to use the safety wrist bands you would need to upgrade to the Spirt 1.0 EVO. The EVO also has hydrogeneration.
