It's definetly the best anime of 2022. When it comes to story it leaves demon hunter in the dust. The part when main guy absorbed life energy of his love and his resftionafter that was heart wrenching. Anime itself looks abit bad in the beginning, but it's quite easy to get used to it since it's extremely easy to get hooked on the story. Can't wait for season 2!

Honestly this is like the only chinese animation show that I like. All of them are like sect this and that about fantasy. I’m so sick of it. Sorry it’s just too much fantasy. This time they did it differently. I know it’s a bit of a copy from the game anthem or something like that. But the story is different and the animation looks good. Let’s just hope the ccp does not ban this animation because of the violence in it.
These kinds of ban thing are little to do with the ccp, the causes almost are the accusations from those kids' parents, now the kids are easy to access most of 15+ or 18+ animations from cellphone and PC, so if some animations' adult content are not in favour by some parents, they will sue these animation firms to bankrupt for any rational reasons they think. The horrible fact is almost all famous Chinese animations you heard were sued by parents once or more.
In China, bloody violence is banned mostly because parents are irresponsible. They think it will affect their children, so they report movies or animations. But now the concept is changing. this animation has 270 million copies in bilibilibili, and it has not been banned

I was disappointed in that donghua, and I've seen many, but I didn't like that one, a disaster, the bad guys won, the protagonists are sad in their story.
