Walid Freediving with Sharks in Roatan

Freediver Walid Boudhiaf gets up close and personal with some Caribbean Black Tip Reef Sharks in Roatan, Honduras.
We created this video in order to dispel the common misconceptions about sharks in order to promote their conservation by showing Walid swimming alongside these beautiful and gentle creatures.

Amazing video. How come there are so many sharks in one spot? Did you chum the waters or did you just find them there?

Thanks for your interest, Barny. They normally aggregate there and we brought down a chum bucket. It's a reef found a few kilometers offshore and is at about 75 feet.
