So nostalgic. The open highways, lack of traffic, and non-existence of scenery destroying sound-walls bring back memories of how enjoyable driving on the freeways used to be. It is, unfortunately, a long lost pleasure that will never exist in California again. Thank God that someone way back then recorded some of it on film.

Was up middle of night in 1979 with my firstborn son who was teething, and crying, fussing...I remember putting this album on, got a bottle of Jim Beam out poured a glass and then rubbed some on my my son's gums. Soon he was fast asleep and I was totally laid back. Beautiful sounds.

Precisamente en el año 1979, obtuve este long play original de Chuck Mangione, (obviamente de vinilo), entregando a cambio a un amigo, unos libros de arte, pintura y escultura… clásica y moderna… recién conocía a la madre de mi hijo único, de nombre Andrés… contexto inolvidable…
