I don't know if it's me getting jaded or cranky with being in lockdown forever but there is nothing new. There is just so much you can do with tee shirts and swearshirts/jumpers. I think this can all be hacked with patterns I have.
nana stevens I agree but think it has nothing to do with lockdown. I noticed years ago and cancelled my subscription. I started back up I January of this year. I’m noticing some differences from when I previously subscribed to the magazine (ended my subscription in 2009). Maybe it’s time for a break until a new group of pattern drafters are hired.
Finally the summer is over! Couldn't stand one more pattern for a sacklike beach dress. A bit basic and no vintage or designer patterns... but I'm buying it. Looking forward your review.
Burda is the only patterns that fit me just perfect. So patterns companies are seriously huge for my size and I just don't understand that, I could understand a little bit big but way to big makes no sense
Fair enough. I got it last week and I found 2 that I liked to sew up straight away. SOmetimes the actual magazine changes my mind for me. Will share my browsethrough soon :-).
Very sad to see so little fitted anything. The only way some of those garments showed a body underneath was the belt, and I'm glad for it. I thought that we were past body shaming, and hiding ourselves in large quantities of beautiful fabrics. Some of the most beautiful women I have seen are BBW and more, but dress themselves majestically in the proper manner and decent amount of fabric, not 3 times as much. How can we feel beautiful when you dress us in sheets and bags tied with matching ropes? I've lost 70 pounds, from 200 to 130, 5'0",and I still see the fat girl. I don't dress her anymore though, those clothes don't fit.😍😍😍

I dont think its you at all. The patterns are repeats in one way or another of issues within the last 14 months I'd say.

One of the tops I am making right now from from the Sept 2019 is exactly the same as one in this issue......
Marie Crowe oh no! That’s annoying. I wonder who we could write to to let them know we aren’t happy about that
Почему все модели повторяются из ранее вышедших номеров?
Раньше были модели интересней а сейчас повторяют нового ничего а юбка с запахом была в журнале за92 год
Да..... Две, три модели, из разных тканей.....

Perfect!
I made the short vest (pictured in pink in the magazine) and love it! Mine is brown wool. I cannot wear it yet because it’s summertime!
Sounds great! Do you have a blog or IG - I'd love to check it out?
Saturday Night Stitch I do but I rarely post anything there. I usually post on the FB group I belong to. My Instagram is Look_Good_Sew_Good
Super👍 Thank you for your work♥🌹
I'm excited about this issue but it has some nice basics
Disculpa como se pueden comprar los patrones o en donde los venden gracias bendiciones
Спасибо
Буду шить юбку с запахом. Красотища!!! Но у нас ещё нет журнала в продаже.

New to sewing how do you find these patterns???
Joann's in the States or online anywhere
Sue Smith buy the Burda magazine. All the patterns are in there. You just need tracing paper
Interesting
Some decent styles in this one.
