There are several of the 5711 around me. Mainly the smaller livestock guys. The row crop grain need larger horsepower tractors. It seems like the 50 to 120 HP MFs are really good. The smaller compact and the larger hp ones seem to have more issues around here. Richard enjoy demoing this tractor. Harry will always remember this too.
we ran nothing but masseys ,from 35’s and 65’s through 100’s ,500’s few 200’s and when we eventually sold up a fleet of 600’s ,never let us down, just took time to look after and service them, pride was the mf 1250, what a beast she was for the day loved driving her
Nice machine Richard. I like it, as it's not so complex with electronics. I love the dealer service. I wish we had that sort of service in my neck of the woods.
Now don't drive distracted Funkmeister 🤣 Crack on slowly till you get the hang of it. The operators manual should be in the cab some place, give it a read to get the most out of your demo . All of America will be watching. 🇺🇲 👀 🇬🇧 ✌️ Cheers
Very nice tractor. Bought the same model with the same loader in August last year. Absolutely love it. Lots of great features. You’ll love that dyna 4 transmission. The loader is self levelling and has great lift capacity. Around 4000 lbs. Mine has the rear wheel weights. We still have our Massey Ferguson 135 that my dad bought in 1967.Cheers from🇨🇦Canada
Good video this Richard 👌, always good when a farmer can get a new bit of kit,the last time you had a new tractor I was 4 .keep the vids coming with the jobs you get upto with it.take care.
harry is going to be very exited to drive it and as well its that good for you you should change one of the mcormicks for that tractor because its the right tractor for you and you should get led lights all the way round that would make it very nice
You can trade in 2 mccormack and 2 mf keep the 135 get a good deal for that tractor to buy. Our silage contractor had his brother John deer new tractor here agitation slurry last Oct. New out garage 100 to 110 hp tractor. Price for tractor with loader was I think is 150 to 160 euro. He trade in a 6230 against it at the time
They keep putting these oversize loaders on em. AdBull is a spritzer to deal with the NOx and keep the exhaust temp low enough it doesn't set the cab roof on fire when it starts pumping diesel and air directly into the grid to burn off soot. Its been around since the early 1980's actually and I think the tech was 1960's research. Its _supposed_ to be only about 2% of your diesel consumption. They stick the tanks on the tractor and you'll get a small amount of evap, always best to park with the DEF side into the wind if it's going to sit running equipment in place. The best way to deal with DEF/AddBull is to never actually fill the tank for it up, put in 4 gallons then follow the 2% rule when you refill your fuel tank and keep the rest stored someplace nice and cool. If you're gonna flatten two full tanks of fuel a day just put that amount of def in. The most important thing you can do with def is keep it VERY clean. Never fill it in a blowing dust situation, always use a mesh funnel and so-forth. Never put DEF in metal tanks or through metal funnels. It weighs a little more than 1kg/L so you can presume a kg is 920ml or 1.1kg per liter will make it easier to measure in if you want to bother. Def will burn skin and damage clothing but isn't as nasty as solid pellet urea dust.
i would like one of these for my ploughing matches and road runs. I know it is a big extravagance for that but hey, I can't take it with me, plus, when i snuff it, there will hopefully be a decent re sale value to add to my estate. Just waiting for the Premium bonds to come good.
That is some spankin' kit that's for sure! Harry must be very exited to be out of school to help you do your chores with that beauty. :) Funky Farmer you and Farmer P sure do like torturing yourselves with awesome machinery. Well have fun with it Funky Farmer dreaming never harmed anyone but their pocket books. LOL :)
She's a beauty Richard. Nice a simple tractor to use. This it the type of tractor I'm familiar with. The bigger tractors are awesome to look at but all the bells and whistles like gps and the monitors really put me off driving them.
Just one thing against this tractor is, not having external lower link hydraulic switches. A very useful pair if switches when putting lower links on machinery, rather than having to keep jumping back in the cab to raise or lower the lift arms Switches are positioned on rear mudguards by lights area. At least it is nice to see a proper red tractor than wrong colour green on youtube.
My understanding is that the “global series “ are made in China. Have a look for the manufactures plate, it will either have China or France. I think it’s on the rear cab frame.
You should tell chandlers Harry needs a die cast of the Massey for his own.i wanted to get him one but who knows what he needs.plus being in the u.s. Makes it harder. Maybe you could start a wish list at a store so folks could buy or donate towards the purchase for Harry,or for you for that matter on a full size one.if everyone would pitch in a fiver you'd have a new Massey.
Who else remembers that Phil guy bringing the big Fendt to deliver some bolts to Rich years ago. 😂👍🏻
Yeah I do

Ideal tractor for your farm. Would be ideal for Harry when he is old enough to drive and help around the farm.
Those older CX Mccormicks go on for years, looking forward to seeing a Massey around to match the 135
I couldn't be happier for you and the boys, exciting times on the farm.
Nice looking tractor Richard, looks a nice basic but functional spec.

Great demo Richard...will it be staying...Better ask Harry ?
Good luck with the demo,
Having never driven a tractor built after 1982 still looks as complicated as hell 🤣
It's about time you got a demo!

Planting a seed, 10 days from now funky to the wife, see that tractor we had on demo l think we should just get it.
Trade in both your mcormicks. Put a new loader on your snoopy nose massey and use the 265 for the muck spreader.
Nice handy tractor
Richard installed my tractor last year
You deserve a new tractor- it would be awesome if Massey Ferguson would offer you a one year demo deal!!
Very nice I want one 🙏🙏
Just one thing
WATCH THE ROOF
😬😁🥰
Good luck with the demo. Hope it fits your farm. Better get Harry to sign off on it before you buy it. 😁
Good luck and hey a great cab (recording studio)🤣
harry is going to be very exited to drive it and as well its that good for you you should change one of the mcormicks for that tractor because its the right tractor for you and you should get led lights all the way round that would make it very nice
You would not regret it if you buy that tractor they are fantastic

Great tractor 🚜 get one ordered 👍🏻
Just curious, how many acres is your farm?
Wow. Shame about the price. xx😄
Next stop for this tractor is Ian's? What did you think of the NH T5 he had on demo?
Huge house you got funky farmer 👍 and nice massy

Awesome livestock tractor especially with Quicke loader👍Q Richard would you get front end hitch n PTO, even a weight/storage box?
ìf and when you get another.. make sure it has airco.. ;)
i think i would use one of the mccormicks for mucj spreading and keep the massey for the cleaner jobs
The smile from Hasser was worth a thousand tractors...

Impatiently waiting for action footage!
Have you watched Ian's New Holland tractor videos?
You will have to show your mate Mr p he might like it and good video nice to see Harry
funny how both you and Farmr P are looking at tractors lol , i like the massey so far
Very nice!!
The saying is if its not red leave it in the shed 🤣🤣🤣
How long is this one going to stay clean
Clean ... on a dairy farm !!! Impossible i reckon 😁
@@themunter4488 Ow, totally. But still remember cleaning "The Old Massey Ferguson" with the Funky Farmer.......Slave Labour 😀
Richard keep the new massey and part ex the McCormick 1o5, just wot you need for your new mower.
Brilliant very interesting 👍
They need to send you a 5s on demo next
Hi Richard I think that massey is much better than the ford that Ian is trying at the moment bring on the reds 😀 👍 roy copenhagen denmark 🇩🇰
Will it be getting a sticker on the window saying roof 😂
will it fit under the roof of the barn you go through?
You can't beat a Massey! Bit different to the old 100 Series that I was brought up on.
I would be trading the McCormick straight in for the Massey 👍
Nice tractor
New Masseys bring the boys to the yard...etc etc..
Guess you'll be comparing notes with Farmer P and his T5...
She's a beauty Richard. Nice a simple tractor to use. This it the type of tractor I'm familiar with. The bigger tractors are awesome to look at but all the bells and whistles like gps and the monitors really put me off driving them.
I say jack and Harry will show you how to drive that tractor
No yard scraping with that one! 💩
congratulations🎉🎉❤❤
i am from pakistan 🇵🇰 and i am farmar👩🌾🧑🏻🌾
Nice video, love the MF. 👍👍👍😉🇺🇸
You should keep it rich😀
Funky Farmer, You don't fancy trying a New Holland like Farmer P?
I got the same tractor on farming simulator 22 and the radio in the new tractor has got blue tooth
Nice machine but at £88k list price there are cheaper and just as capable alternatives in my view
No one will pay 88k
Ye but nobody will pay 88k cos farmers have trade ins and dealer prices you never pay full price
Yes but my point is other manufacturers will list price nearer £50-60k so when you negotiate a deal it’s still going to be far less
@@ajb542 ye but what manufacture because you wont get a brand like massey or jd ect for cheap
150 to 160 thousands euro

i thought the same then spotted that the switches are positioned out of site to the side of the rear lights
Thought the very same myself. Tidy
Is it made in China?
France
The global series are made in france if they have a cab if not they are made in china
@@themeparkkieran4573 i think the 4 series is made in china

Personally I don't like mf there are much better brands out there.
