Dead Volvo paint and Saker 12v Cordless Polisher

I am trying to bring back some of the terrible paint on Ingrid, but she might just be too bad to bring back. I also try a cordless polisher I was sent by the good folks at Saker.

My paint is kind of similar, though I think it's fairly original paint for the most part. I really need to get a polisher. I do think yours improved with the buffing.

It definitely cut through the oxidation and brought out the blue color. I agree with starting with 2K grit sanding (lightly) if you think the paint is thick enough.
