Thank you Ehsan and Navid for making this video. I watched all of it. The answer of question is there is relation between number of CPUs and the number of ports they have.
It depends on the number of Vcpus of the cores. for example, vsmart controller on VM can get up to 8 Vcpus and ports respectively and each core gets separate base ports for control connections.
1:00:16 If i get the question right, the number of connections we see is related to the number of virtual cpus of each sdwan controller. I hope i can win the lab.
There should be a correlation between the number of assigned ports and the number of vCPUs (cores) assigned. For example , a vManage with 8 CPU will have 8 control sessions (DTLS) to each vBond. Another vManage with 2 CPU will have only 2 DTLS to each vBond. As per cisco documentation, a vManage can be configured to a minimum of 16 vCPUs, and eight vCPUs are used for control connection ports. The vCPUs are designated as Core0 through Core7.Great content though !!! thankyou 🙂
