We have changed several Windows Team Rooms systems to this as it is just easier and more reliable to use. The Windows systems would frequent have issues and need something restarted. Plus the setup and boot up is ALOT faster than the Windows based systems.
Were the ones you changed Logitech Rally systems?
Love the review, matches our experiences for the most part. This exact setup in a client's boardroom, together with Rally Plus and Tap IP. After a handful of updates, there's been great performance on the video and network side, but the audio has some serious issues that we're struggling to figure out with Logitech. The mic pods' levels in the EQ are maxed out and no way of being able to dial it down, hopefully the EQ (or at least some ability to dial down the microphones) is added in..
Have you raised a support ticket?
Hello, I'm trying to set up this kit, but when entering the teamsroom license, I get an error: Signing out... Couldn't enroll in intune
some kind of advice and suggestion?
Thanks
Big subject. Best to follow the Microsoft documentation to get Intune and Endpoint manager set up correctly for Teams devices
We tried roommate, and updated. its have too many issues. Logitech rally camera was not working properly, video quality was too bad. even sometime camera doesn't come up. lots of issues.
It the Roommate up to date? Is the Rally System up to date? And do you have examples of the issues?
What about remote support, the roommate has any new portal to perfom remote support as the Cisco webex kit?
All Logitech CollabOS devices have what's called local network access so you can get at the settings when on the same network. Or you can manage using the Sync cloud platform
does the roommate support direct guest join for Zoom/Webex if you have it setup as a dedicated MSTRooms?
Not yet. Probably early next year. The reason is that the camera, Mic and speakers are peripherals rather than onboard. So it needs some development by Microsoft and Logi
Is there a touch display?
There is if you plug in a touch display
Or do you mean is there a touch controller? Because there are two options. Directly connected and network paired
Sounds like you're recording your mono microphone without splitting the audio and turning it stereo. Only one of my ears can hear you, quite hard to listen to.
Sorry. I've upgraded since then. I'll try harder 😉
