I start school on September 14th here in New York. I also would recommend Mason choosing between his high school and club baseball. I say that because here in New York high schools don't allow the athletes to play on their travel ball teams when their high school season is going on
Did u guys break the connect in? If not it’s fine there’s just a chance it good break quicker and if u break it in it will hit farther! :) u have to swing 50 percent off the tea 100 times and 75 percent off the tea 100 times than 100 soft pitches than 50 pitches :)
The Cat9 one piece is a good contact hitter bat but the Cat9 connect is more for the power hitter type bat if I was to choose one it’d be the connect because I like two piece bats more then one piece but I don’t have a bat at the moment so maybe one day I can get one

When he gets able to swing heavier bats check out the 2015 zcore hybrid from Easton that bat has tons of pop and not a lot of vibration

There both bbcor, bbcor is drop 3 (-3), ussa is (-5) they don’t make the composite cat 9 for bbcor u use ussa bats, they make BOTH
