Feels like home that it is to the point that you will not even want to move out. And no roommate conflicts whatsoever because every roommate gets a separate room, no matter which dorm you end up at, as there are all suite style that is kind of like the University of Kentucky
I am almost to the university now I am in a car driving to the dorm room and now today is KSU awareness day that mean that I can’t show any weakness I have to stay strong like Kennesaw and KSU and the university

Ok so my daughter got into a 6x4 and it’s the
bunk bed room as well bc it was the last available as her time ticket was on the 21st and she is a incoming freshman and she called housing and they told her she can fill out a room change 2 weeks after school starts and if something comes available that fits her she can do that and pay the room change fee....do you know how often ppl fill out those forms if something really comes available? That’s her issue is if they are full now they won’t have anything available fall 2020 then either but i want to know if you may know does other units really come available?
Hi !! Congrats on your daughter getting in :) You will be surprised how many rooms come available once the school year starts, students drop out of dorms for many reasons (payment too high, found an apartment, decided to commute etc) Make sure she fills the form out fast so she will be one of the first to pick if something comes available (and, to be honest, annoying housing works that what i did. I just kept calling until they listened to me.) Tell her not to worry ! I had 3 random roommates and they were all literally the best roommates ever. Good luck.
These rooms seem so big to be dorms! I’m so excited I go as a freshmen in the fall of 2021! Are rooms like yours all this big and if not are they difficult to get?
Edit: I also wanted to know if they let outside (out of school) visitors onto the campus/into the dorms? Situations such as friends coming over and possibly spending the night if they wanted. Thank you!
Hey ! Yes they are hugeee for dorms. All rooms aren’t the size of mine. Only University village , ARC (upperclassmen) and KSU Place are around the same size. University Village suites are a little smaller and have a twin bed but still pretty big for a dorm and you only share a bathroom with one person! As far as spending the night ..KSU is one of the most lenient colleges when it comes to that. When I was a freshman they didn’t have a sign in book or anything you kinda just let them come and leave when they want there are no limitations . I think the rule was they couldn’t be there longer than 3 days or your roomates could report you lol. Congrats on your acceptance !

how do you guys decide who gets the bigger room? since i know room A and D are bigger than B and C? Is it whoever moves in first?
you choose it in the housing portal whoever is “virtually” in the room first gets to pick so you’ll know what ahead of your move in time

the earlier you do your housing so from August- December is considered early.
quick question! i move on campus in about 3 weeks, i was wondering if the led lights messed up your walls? if not where did you purchase them? they are beautiful!
hey i’m moving on campus too but yes they do mess up the walls. if you put them on your wall it will mess up the paint and you’ll have to pay extra fees

I either got it from bed,bath and beyond or walmart ! 🥰🥰
Did you use your own mattress or the one they provided?
they provide a mattress but some people bring a mattress topper for comfort.
did you get to choose your actual bedroom or are they assigned ?
It depends if you’re first in the room or whatever. I was second to last in my room so I only had two choices since the other two were filled.

How much on average would this cost?
I’m thinking of applying to KSU, and I’m interested in the 4x4 housing. My question is, when picking this option, are the roommates picked randomly or do you have to have 3 other people with you in order to get it
you can room with friends or people that you find in the little roommate search thing but if not it will just be random ! mine are random but their great.

Yes KSU is very lenient when it comes to visitation. They don’t have a sign in book or anything unlike most colleges. So, as long as your roomates are cool with it.
