DOOR CLIP DISASTER -> THIS IS THE BETTER WAY, 1st step pull out the inner part with needle-nose pliers, 2nd step turn the inner part by 90 ° and insert it again until it snaps into place, 3rd step pull out the clip, 4th step pry out the inner part of the clip with a very small screwdriver, 5th step turn the inner part back by 90° and insert it as far as before, the clip is now ready to be inserted again. The 2 screws should be torx 30. Thanks for the helpful video

Your videos are real. You don’t stop filming at a hard part so that we can’t see what you’re doing and get caught on that part of the job saying WTF? Great videos. Thanks.
When you are removing that first clip, you don't just pry it out. Inside of it you'll see little plastic pieces sticking out. Those are attached to the sides holding it in. Put a small screwdriver on the left side of the little pieces against the inner wall of the clip and carefully pry, pushing those little bit toward the middle of the clip. While you do that pull the left side of the clip out. Repeat on the right holding the left side out while you pull the right out. The whole thing slides right out. You shouldn't do any damage to it at all.
It's definitely a pain to remove. They definitely didn't shoe how to remove it

What size are the 2 screws that you took out of the panel under the arm rest. Mine are stripped beyond and I need a new one to fully close my panel. I had to replace my handle. Thank you

Hi Guys, Can you help please. On this video, right near the end 7.38m you show the door panel internal. I am interested to know there is a embellish piece that is damaged on mine (the panel that is clipped in by the internal door handle) your piece is shown in wood. I wanted to know if you need to take of the door panel to do this, or are those fittings push fittings or nut fittings that I can see to replace that small embellish panel.
While trying to take that first clip out I broke it. Do you have a link to buy a replacement for it?

I do automotive glass and never disconnect it. But its not bad practice to do it for peace of mind

You do not have to do all that to remove the door panel. I was able to do it with out taking out that black gaurd panel and the door tweeters panel and with out messing with that clip he kept going on about
There are tabs inside the first clip which you need to lift before prying it out. That is why yours broke. Otherwise all good 👍
Guys I need to change the door handle on my car it is moving loosely and it doesn’t open the door anymore. How can I fix it? Please get back to me!!! 😫
The same way he took it off. The black cable that he unhooked from the door latch is probably what it's broken.
