    To me it looks like the most prominent thing wasn't the shape or the color, but that he was turned off by the taste of plastic.

    What a fascinating run! He clearly disliked the feel of the mannequin, and I couldn't see that he ever touched the wig. But two things stood out to me: He constantly shaped himself like the wig, no streamlining through the water this time. And it was fun to watch his arms "thinking," the individual suckers moving like a player piano. Also, how do you always find the perfect music to highlight each episode? This track was all floaty, like a slow belly dance-which he was essentially doing. Great job, Octolab.

      I have learned new things today. Apparently cephalopods are colour blind and yet can perceive colour, just not the way we do.
      Anyway, even grayscale would have shades associated with 'Danger' and the way the wig hair acts is similar to a filter feeder or jellyfish tendrils. So it could be dangerous!

    Some of his caution seems to be about the mannequin. Maybe the wig being up so high seemed like a much larger creature that might be a threat. Would just the head or just the wig cause this?

    • @davewolf6256

  • @KateMcCridhe
    @KateMcCridhe 3 года назад +8

    Got the impression of "what is that creepy thing?"
    Do the tentacles tightly spiral at the tips when they're feeling some trepidation?
    Wondering what the reaction would be to a natural hair color?
    Seems to me, bright crazy colors like that are a warning of poisonous things in nature.
    Noticed that the exploration was on the dummy head, of a more natural color, rather than the incredibly ugly wig... I mean seriously... that's worthy of caution.
