There is a newer version of this that has an integrated meter that displays volts, amps, WH, MAH and so on. It also has a clear shield to sit on keeping the heat of the mosfet from burning the surface that it sits on. I am testing it right now. I plan on making a video on it.
So basically this dummy load is to test power bank?, to make sure it's not what the maker claim the bank output? if I don't use power bank is there other use for this device?
+Tricky Pixels Took me awhile to find a link because the place I bought it from removed it as soon as I bought it. I've put an Amazon US link in my video description. There are a few electronic loads from DROK and other companies that look almost identical to this one, until you flip it over and look underneath and each of them have a different spec.
How did the race power do when you tested its mAh. Was it true to advertised or was it bullshit? I bought the 13000mha and that should charge my iPad almost twice but I get probably 3/4 charge out of it...
The RavPower? It scored around 82% of it's advertised capacity. I would typically expect around 90% for a brand like Ravpower so it is a little low but not awful.
Gadget Addict - Yea RavPower is what I meant, damn autocorrect haha. Thanks for the info, I'll test my 13000 once I get in the amp meter that tests capacity and gonna get one of these constant dummy load guys too. Hopefully the cheap $10 amp meter is accurate and will give me a good reading on the true mAh capacity of my batteries and devices
Please tell me how to reset all settings to zero, and then I have something clicked and I changed the language from English into Chinese ??? You are welcome

Nice review. Think I'm gonna grab one of these. I was a bit hesitant with the 2 resistors ones when it got extremely hot.

actually thats not a dummy load its a constant load
+Juan Paolo DIY! It's a constant current load. What is a dummy load if not any electrical load, regardless of type?

press and hold the button to reset or clear data (Memory) Press the button 6 times to change language.
Rob H thank you )
+Максим Гладкий Your Welcome and thanks for saying thank you, most people don't.
Try usb killer instead of dummy load ;)
