Great video Superman I love the old tools they are so much fun to restore. and such a trooper to stay out in the rain. stay safe and keep throwing your friend across the lakes Richard W.
The clams you found on the pipe and elsewhere are called zebra mussels. They came from over seas in the ballast tanks of ships bringing goods here. When the ships come into port they dump the ballast tanks and we got the hitch hiking zebra mussels.
If you look up Jordan cars they were made in the early 1900s and they had those spark plugs in them, those are a cool find, another great video Tyler have a great weekend brother.
I'm watching from Northern NJ. You sure found yourself a great new spot so much cool stuff. Thank you for another great video! Can't wait for the next!
As a long time viewer who was born in Algoma, I always wondered what you might catch in that river. Awesome! If you ever go back, go south from Olson Park, up the left brance. There is an old factory on each side. Watch the depth, it can get pretty shallow.
Hello from Saskatchewan! That coin is a 10 Centavos coin from Mexico, and just like nearly all silver coins from there, they are made of stainless steel. A lot of the random piping pieces and gears you're finding look to be parts from an exhaust or transmission system in an old car. I'm helping my Dad restore a car right now, and let me tell ya, it's been a crash course in knowing ALL of its parts! And that spoked half-circle looks to be the remains of a valve wheel, like the one you see in classic submarines and on dams. And that last thing you found looks to be the top of a vertical boiler or a furnace. The round hole in its top was for the smoke exhaust, and the smiley-face-shaped hole as for heat bleeding. I've seen them made before so I recognized it immediately
The can lid with the two punched triangles is an old oil can lid. Oil for car engine.. Tyler, when I got out of college, I worked at a gas station. Oil cans came to us made of heavy duty cardboard with metal bottoms and tops. To open them, we used a larger bottle opener which made a triangle opening and then pour the oil into an engine oil opening. The body of the can had a wax coating to keep the oil from leaking out. If someone pitched the can into the river, the body of the can would have eroded away leaving just the top and bottom for you to find.
Awesome finds today Tyler. I hate when your out in the boat, and it starts raining. You pulled up parts from an old GM vehicle manifold. That was a very cool find. Have a great day my friend, and stay safe ❤️🙂⚘️🛠🔩🧲.
Hi Tyler 😊❤It’s me…..Paula……watching you from Grayling Michigan. Right across from Lake Michigan. Those were some great finds you caught. I appreciate you finding another gorgeous place to take us on your adventures. And I would like to thank you for doing what you do. Hats off to you sir.😊❤Stay safe out there my friend 😊❤
Hey Tyler, those Jordan spark plugs are REALLY EXPENSIVE $20 per plug , probably why we don't see TOO many of these around 🤣😂🤣. Crazy amount of money 🤑🤑 I like the Longer video 🌞👍😎🐠✌️
13:38 On the back of the coin, it says United States of Mexico. According to Google Translate. Tyler, keep it up, man. Your channel is educational plus interesting. I started watching you during Covid and have been watching every since. Shout out to The Finding Family as well.
Hi Tyler Awesome Video great finds and I think what you do is.Awesome yiu are such a great Person and you always makr me laugh watching from Belfast Northern Ireland
Salmon and trout snagging was 100% legal on Lake Michigan tributaries up until around the mid 80's. Bait shops would buy the eggs from the female fish to sell as bait, and a number of snaggers would gut the fish on shoreline, take the eggs, and discard the fish on the bank. This was a big reason that snagging was outlawed.
Video is awesome. Never can get enough of magnet fishing. It's amazing and ashame of how much stuff is under the water. Watching from Northern Delaware. Love your channels😊
Yakima Wa I worked at Dresden nuclear power plant back in 80’s and we went to that town ins why but love your videos Tyler it makes my day and your a great inspirational person
The thing with the square in the end of it could b an old tool to turn on and off fire hydrants back in the day I've seen tools kinda like that on our fire truck when I have volunteered in the past for them I still do volunteer work for them but dont go on calls no more cus of back injuries that I had happen to me they have all sorts of weird looking tools that u find sometimes
I think the place you have been fishing around was Marine repair shop.Think about it so many tools, old short splined shafts.I think that jib crane was used to lift stuff up and swing it over to the shop.
Watching from right here in Wisconsin. Newton, near Manitowoc. Those fish I believe are Alewife, not minnows. They spawn in the fresh waters and then mature in the ocean. They also line our beaches of Lake Michigan in the summer and stink to high heaven!
I found what I thought was a horseshoe like that one time and was baffled about it until I cleaned it off and it was a giant magnet from way back in the day when they made them in the shape of horseshoes it was an awesome day for sure that day
That was from my 7 year old (freddie) he loves watching your videos, we watch them together at bedtimes. He wanted to comment and has never commented before on youtube so i let him, He will be thrilled to see you have given him a heart back. Thanks so much!
Tyler, from what you gathered up by the shore of the first bridge there's probably more towards the middle. More clams for the garden. I am outside Kansas City Mo.
Seemed like the zebra mussels were bigger than I have seen before. So sad that everything in the freat lakes is probably covered with these. Make sure you rinse your boat and trailer very well so you don't carry eggs to other lakes and rivers.
I just noticed the steps that come down from the shop right to water . You asked where everyone is watching from: About 5 mi. from lake Ontario, Oswego New York.

I believe the Jordan Spark Plug is from an early Ford Model A. Somewhere around the 1920's.
I like that you mention what city you are in. Would be helpful if you could do that all of the time.
Great video Superman I love the old tools they are so much fun to restore. and such a trooper to stay out in the rain. stay safe and keep throwing your friend across the lakes Richard W.
Franky was holding his ‘homemade’ sword. So you basically found a potential murder weapon.

Good afternoon from Scotland
The "GM" find was a broken exhaust manifold from an engine.
Don't forget inboard boats used the engines made by the car manufacturers .
I think the last peice you found was part of a old wood stove the door.
Pipe Threader at 23:46. For cutting Threads on a blank pipe.
The crane swings out over the water, boat engine service
Cool.
Raindrops keep fallin on my head.

@11 looks like lower steering column. Perhaps the first casting you found may be associated with it.
