Yes, it's cheaper in Uganda western and Caribbean food is expensive!! In the US a dollar is a dollar Anywhere else your dollars can be lost depends on the exchange
Comparing is sometimes not a good thing to do, because when your over priced every time you step foot outside the house. It will add up as if you are in America. Never a good way to look at things.
Thank you for the video. We always know as women if we are being exploited but you just support. But I am very impressed by the prices and its a reminder of how we are exploited in the west, those 2 grocery bags would cost you $50-80 in an American farmers market or "Whole Foods" store. Perfect video that I need for an upcoming trip this weekend. I think I might visit the Nakasero Market since its closer to where I will stay. Thank you for the recommendations of Rahim Foods and Milk and marr in a former video.
@@ConnectWithUganda thank you for comment. Your channel is very helpful and nice. It has been helpful during my stay in the kololo area for business. I found a store name Ark Organics near the Four Points Sheraton that I will visit.
@@ConnectWithUganda I know this might not be relevant but do you know of any compounds I can stay at when I come in 2024? I'll pay up to $50 per night. And if the women can cook for me that would be great.
I only didn’t like that the video is so much about how horrible expensive but a worker is worthy of their wages. Don’t make them feel bad but just move on instead.
Wait until you come to America if you think that market's expensive then never comes to America everything in America is at least three times more expensive than in Uganda
You're tripping a $1.30 for a pineapple is three times cheaper than what I paid for a pineapple in America it's almost five United States dollars for a one pineapple in America
You'll pay 5$ in merica for a melon.
Yes and in America medium salary is 3-4k dollars, in Uganda not more than 200-300
7 dollars at Cub Food in Minnesota
I love your videos give me an idea when I visit soon
Organic fruits and vegetables
Looks like nice people still around 😊
Brillant video! Very detailed. Those veggies look good.
Still way cheaper than western and Caribbean countries.
Not in Caribbean countries. And in western salaries are x10 than here.

Sometimes they hike the prices when they see someone they don't know😂. And if they see you with the car they exaggerate😅
Greetings Rachel, great prices when compared to the Western world!!

Oh wow.. I'm in the Caribbean. You probably would have gotten half the watermelon for the 10 US
You can get pineapples all day in uganda for 2,000

Have you been up in north like GULU or Kitgum?
Even the watermelons are cheaper it's like $7 for a watermelon here
You're getting a lot more than what we can in the USA for $10.

I think you’re forgetting that we’re spending 10 usd. There’s nothing horrible expensive. Take your negative lenses somewhere else.
✅ 🚀 ❤ 😎 👉 Kampala is not cheap. Once, I had salmon in one of the hotels. It was cold too. But I ended up paying 65k shillings,
😮
