Hi david etheve taranaki has the best wave conditions, many spots just google it. Wellington is great as well, one of the windiest cities in the world. Check out the Wellington windsurf Facebook page and you will find lots of other windsurfers. They would be the top two places in New Zealand but there are many more other spots!
