I'm Indonesian, and i agree with this whole prediction. Loosing from japan is a calculated risk. We have slightly better opportunity to win all 3 games home against bahrain, china and saudi than one win against japan. A draw is beautiful for us against japan.
Popovic has made some interesting picks for this window. One I'm looking forward to possibly seeing is Anthony Caceres, who unless you're Australian you probably would not have heard off. he is simply unlike any other midfielder we have at the moment. He is technically gifted and astoundingly good at keeping possession. He's certainly got his short-comings, hence why you haven't heard of him, but he offers something different to the hard running/hard tackling Defensive mid's that we usually go for. Since Mooy retired creativity has not been a strong point for the Socceroo midfield. He's not on mooy's level but he could add something different.

Since Saudi Arabia’s midfielders Salem Al-Dawsari and Abdulelah Al-Malki are absent, their match against Australia is likely to be a grueling 90 minutes lacking in decisive action. In the China vs. Bahrain match, a win for China would make things more interesting in the group overall, but it’s unlikely. The Chinese team is facing many injuries, particularly among their forwards and defenders, and most of their naturalized players are also out, giving Bahrain a high chance of victory. Japan, despite having several injuries, is still expected to win against both Indonesia and China, even on the road. However, achieving the same overwhelming margin as in their first match will be difficult. The match I’m watching closely is the second game between Indonesia and Saudi Arabia-if Indonesia has home-field advantage, they might be able to pull off an upset for three points. In Group C, with every team aside from Japan facing fierce competition, it’s likely the final standings will be decided by goal difference.
We can have a few suprises here and there but these next two matches are gonna be tough. No matter what happens, i'm proud of Indonesia and where they at right now. W video btw 🔥
As a Chinese, I think Bahrain will win China 3:1. I do believe China is going to score. China has so many injured players. It is a really tough game. China conceded goals for the last 23 World Cup Qualifiers.

@@TheDeadBallTV it’s a senior tournament, but for Indonesia they’ll be just sending more of the youth players, since it’s not a FIFA tournament, and can’t bring the full squad. Meanwhile the likes of Vietnam will send their full squad since all of their players are local players.
@@TheDeadBallTVNope. Its up to the federations and coach selection. Thailand and Indonesia sent their u22 squad while Vietnam sent their senior squad if I am not mistaken. This is because the vietnam federation want to regain the people trust after the bad result they had throughout this year.
@@blinkusfishus2052 Why not? The way the locals say it is the correct way to say it. Especially considering he's literally speaking English. Are people who don't have an Australian accent incapable of pronouncing that?
@@mitchellsmith300 I am a local, the reason foreigners struggle with it is because they are pronouncing it 'bourne' like the Jason "Bourne" movies, because that's how the English language is supposed to work. Even if Japan wins, it is impossible for Indonesia to lose by more than 3 goals at home, even Argentina finds it difficult to score. Kubo, who once played at the GBK stadium during the U19 World Cup qualifiers, said the stadium atmosphere felt intimidating to opposing players. Even Indonesian players themselves said it was difficult to communicate with other players at GBK because of the sound of the supporters and the air became hot because of the many people.

I Think facing japan is calcullated lose, but who knows, everything is possible.
Realistically Group C is wide open. I don't have hopes for China though, they are done. Indonesia have a slight chance, but Australia and Saudi getting Popovic and Renard is a blow. These two teams should be stronger again. Bahrain is that chaotic evil, where form goes out of the window when you play them unless you're Japan.
OK! After all the giggles and laughs at the expense of our lovely indos 🤓 , I think they might earn a positive result against the Saudis. After seeing the Japan's match result, the Saudis might underestimate Indonesia and that could be fatal for them. Good luck!
And that is exactly what happened! Indonesia 2-0 Saudi Arabia, which resurrected Indonesia's hopes and turned Group C into a chaotic blob of teams (Japan at #1 aside)! 🤣🤣🤣
I don't think Indonesia will gonna beat Japan and Saudi Arabia this time around. They have shown how lame they were in the 2-1 loss to China, and everyone in Indonesia knew how devastating it was. You can't field a team with naturalised players and somehow claimed you are superior just because of holding two impressive draws. But Saudi Arabia will have a very, very hard time with the Renard 2.0 era. Renard is a great motivator but his poor tactical strategy will be his own downfall.
I agree. Indonesians think this is FIFA 25 video game lol. It's the real deal bozos and the China match showed how weak your European import players were lmao Can't even win against the weakest team 😂
Japan rank 15 vs indonesia rank 133...ofcourse is easy to predict😂..but remember we draw with saudiarabia rank 50 away...and hold australia rank 25...loss with cina rank 70,away...so I still proud with my national team...so far...
