I enjoy following along with Aenne's exploits not only because she's a hilarious force of chaos, but also because she tries very hard to learn all the mechanics of the game and you can see her getting better and better at them as time goes on. Keep up the good work, Aenne!

By the way, gotta give it up to Aenne for getting into this game as fast as she did. Her commentary is hilarious and I really appreciate it because sometimes I zone out bad when watching videos lol, but let's not forget stumpt crew has played this a number of times, even though they're getting back to it after a long time, they still know all the mechanics and shenanigans. I think it took Aenne like 2 episodes to get in the same groove as them, and cooking games are toughes than they look 👏
It’s great to see a new playthrough with a new player in the mix. Makes me wish to see a Diner Bros 2, but I’m satisfied with this. Can’t wait to see all the playthroughs.
What I like about the Diner Bros games that they do better than any other of the cooking games is that in Diner Bros it's all about communication and driving greater efficiency in the processes. In contrast, every other cooking game is about levels designed to be increasingly less efficient. Diner Bros throws difficult challenges to the player but one's skill in designing effective flows in the processes allows the player to overcome these challenges, whereas other games are designed to have the least effect processes possible in order to generate difficulty.
@@simsplayer9952 See, I'm not so sure about that. I enjoy PlateUp! but still think it falls along the lines of intentionally making things inefficient as the means to generate difficulty. Granted, there is a modicum of redemption in the equipment improvement that can assist with the process, but not to the extent that Diner Bros gets it right. In Diner Bros it feels like you have the right equipment for the present challenge at hand (with equipment improving alongside the difficult increase) and success depends on the player implementing effective processes rather than how much the equipment has been upgraded. In PlateUp! it always feels like the lack of upgraded equipment relative to number of diners is the greatest driving factor of a lost run (particularly for single player). PlateUp! is still in development and I think the dev can learn a lot from Diner Bros
"your child does not know not to go into a private kitchen in a restaurant" immediately after pisses off Price and Ash going into the kitchen in the way for wine bottles
So satisfying to watch. Good job Price and Ash. You've got everything ready to go. And Aenna and Jazzy are doing an awesome job covering everything else. You guys should try endless mode some time!
