Got it about 6 months after it came out(back when the T71 was a good light and not the neutered junker it is today)and it was easily one of the worst grinds in the game thanks to the shit gun and the shit softstats for both the gun and the tank. And for real I don't even know what's going through WG's mind when putting a tier 6 gun on a tank that is suppost to fight against tier 10s. I had that very same problem when grinding my stb 1. The stock gun on the sta 2 has 144mm of pen. Wat de fuq. But in the end it was worth it. Aw man ain't nothing out there like 4k dpm on a tank with 14° of gun depression.

2 ways to look at armor: 1) The way most people do: The Defender. Gives immunity. You can just drive into trouble and blast away without worrying about anything. Very few tanks actually have this ability. 2) Armor Reality. When you peek over a ridgeline, can your turret deflect a shot? Can your hull occasionally bounce that last random shot by the enemy in a 1V1 knife fight? Can you sometimes bounce when sidescraping? The ability to bounce in these situations IS decent armor in this game. This tank does have it, as well as good mobility and a punchy gun. I came face to face with a full health AE. He was on top of a small plateau and I was working the edge. I took him out and had 1/2 my health left. Not too many mediums I could have pulled that off with. Good tank.

On the move this tank is ridiculous. It’s become one of my main tier 8 premium tanks I play along with the Löwe, renegade, IS-3A and borasque. It’s trained my CS-63 crew to 5 skills already and I’m losing my mind over this machine
